⚠️Mentions of Death.

As Soobin and Hyuka were strolling around and having fun they suddenly heard a commotion. They heard a gunshot. Hyuka was startled and he clung onto Soobin and the latter did the same. They heard another gunshot as they saw the guy with a gun ran past them.

"Hyu...ka." Soobin said with a weak voice.

Hyuka felt Soobin loosen his grip from the hug as he fell on the ground. "Soobin-hyung! Soobin-hyung! Wake up! Soobin-hyung! Wake up!" Hyuka shouted as he cried. "Someone help! Please!" he cried more and more as he tried to stop the bleeding.

He cried and cried as he shouted for help and trying to stop the bleeding.

"Hyu...ka...I'm...so...rry...I...love...you." Soobin said in a weak voice.

"Stop talking Soobin-hyung! Just hang in there the ambulance will be here soon!" Hyuka shouted.

"It's...okay...Hyu...ka...my...lo...ve...I'm...so...rry...I...could...not...ful...fill...my...pro...mise...let's...me...et...a...gain...in...ano...ther...life." Soobin smiled as he touched Hyuka's face.

Hyuka held Soobin's arms and smiled while his tears are falling. "Of course! We'll meet again in another life. But we gotta live this life together, okay? So hang in there!" Hyuka frowned as he felt Soobin's hand lost its strength.

"Soobin-hyung! Soobin-hyung!" Hyuka shouted.

As he was crying the ambulance arrived. They took Soobin to the nearest hospital. As they arrived at the hospital, Soobin was rushed to the ER.

Hyuka cried as they take Soobin away from him. He stayed outside bawling his eyes out. He waited there for a while. He never moved. He just stayed there on the ground hugging his knees waiting for the doctor to come out and say that Soobin is safe. He just want Soobin to be safe. That's all he was hoping for.

"Maybe it was my fault. If I hadn't agreed to that date. Maybe...maybe...maybe..." Hyuka muttered to himself as he cried louder.

A few minutes later, their friends arrived. "Hyuka!" Yeonjun shouted as he rushed to hug Hyuka. Beomgyu and Taehyun followed and they also hugged Hyuka.

"What happened Hyuka? Are you all right? Is Soobin all right?" Yeonjun asked as he patted Hyuka's back.

Hyuka looked up and as he saw them he cried louder than before. "Shhh. Hyuka. It's okay. I'm here. We're here. Soobin will be alright okay?" Yeonjun hugged Hyuka tighter as tears fell from his eyes.

Hyuka hugged them back. They all stood up as the doctor came out of the door.

"Is he all right, doc?" Hyuka asked with hopeful eyes.

The doctor looked at him and shook his head. "I'm sorry for your loss." The doctor then left.

Hyuka's world broke. Tears again filled his already red eyes as he fell on the ground. He sat there his face now expressionless. His eyes not showing emotion. His friends hugged him as they also cried.

⚠️Mentions of Suicide.

A week have passed since Soobin's death and Hyuka was so broken as he had finally decided to follow him.

"I'll see you soon Soobin-hyung." He muttered to himself as he smiled.

He hanged his head on a rope and he kicked the chair he was standing on. Fortunately someone arrived at his house and saw him hanging. It was Kang Taehyun. A bestfriend of his and Soobin.

Taehyun quickly cut off the rope and that made Hyuka fall on the floor. "What the hell are you thinking!" Taehyun yelled.

"Taehyun-ah just let me die. I want to see him." Hyuka said as he cried.

"Stop this! If you want to see him you should wait for your next life! You can't just skip this life and jump onto the next one! What about your family? What about your friends? Yeonjun-hyung? Beomgyu-hyung? What about me? I care for you! I care for all of you! You're the one who helped me get out of my dark world before I met Beomgyu-hyung. You're the one who led us to each other. I'm so grateful for that. Can't you live for us? Or for Soobin-hyung at least!" Taehyun said as he also cried.

"Do you think Soobin-hyung will be happy if he saw you like this? Fix your life first and live for the sake of his memories. Live until your time runs out and finally meet up with him. Until then live your life and try to be happy, okay?" Taehyun said as he took Hyuka to an embrace.

Hyuka cried on Taehyun's embrace. "Okay...I will try to live for...him" Hyuka said as he smiled sadly.

They continued to hug each other when Yeonjun and Beomgyu arrived.

"Hueningie! Why did you try to do that!?" Yeonjun said as he rushed to Hyuka.

"Yah! Huening Kai! Don't do that again okay!?" Beomgyu said as tears fell from his eyes. He also rushed to hug Hyuka.

"Thank you for being here with me." Hyuka said as his eyes got watery again.

"We'll always be here Hyuka." Yeonjun said as he smiled softly.

They continued to comfort Hyuka and they gave him a reason to continue living this cruel life.

He will meet Soobin again. Just in the right time.
