Akaashi was now in the kitchen. He was looking for something to eat to get stuff off of his mind. Next thing he knew he was looking at his father's liquor cabinet. He looked at the clock, 6:30 pm. Akaashi thought about it for a moment before grabbing the lock and seeing if it was open. It was. He grabbed one of the smaller bottles in the back. He closed the door and walked up to his room and sat on his bed. His phone kept buzzing, one message after the other. All from different numbers. He had tried blocking them but it never worked they just got a new number. He looked at the bottle. He knew he shouldn't, but the messages kept coming and coming. He needs to drown his pain in something. So, he drank the whole bottle. It was weird at first but he liked it. He had grabbed a second, then a 3rd. He stopped at that, not only cause his dad would have noticed but he had school the next day. He sat there, clearing drunk and slightly slurring his words. He stood up but Immediately collapsed on the ground. He got up and just fell back in the bed and just laid there.

He was laying there thinking about what to do next. He got up and looked at the clock at 7:30. He was still really drunk but had grabbed a coat and started walking somewhere. Where? Even he didn't know.

Soon enough he ended up at Bokuto's house, he looked and his parent's cars weren't there. He walked up to the door and knocked. After a few seconds Bokuto opened the door, he looked like he took a shower since his hair was down. "Oh, Akaashi. Why are you here?" He seemed confused since Akaashi seemed frustrated at him just 2 hours ago. "Look I'm sorry." Akaashi slightly mumbled. "I can't hear you if you're mumbling and staring at the ground" Bokuto looked at him but Akaashi was still staring at the ground. Finally, Akaashi looked at him, "I'm sorry" Akaashi said. Bokuto strangely looked at Akaashi, "Did you just slur your words?" He asked. Akaashi looked surprised but shook his head. Bokuto stepped to the side offering Akaashi to come inside but barely stepping through the door he tripped but luckily Bokuto caught him. He closed the door and lead Akaashi to the couch.

Akaashi sat down and just closed his eyes. Soon Bokuto sat next to him. "Akaashi have you been drinking? How the hell did you even manage to get your hands on that stuff?!" Bokuto asked concerned. "My dad..left the hic cabinet unlocked." Akaashi sighed. "But why the hell would you drink it?!" Bokuto asked. "I...I  don't know." He sighed. "Well, how much have you had?"Bokuto asked. Akaashi raised 3 fingers . "Three cups?" Akaashi shook his head, "Bottles" This sent Bokuto into shock before getting up and walking somewhere. He came back with water and handed the bottle to Akaashi. He thanked him and drank some of the water.

Both of them sat there and started just talking. About Volleyball, shows, and other things. Akaashi smiled as it kept his mind off of things. Bokuto had put on the tv for some background noise but they both eventually started watching it. "You know, this is why I like you. Sure you are stubborn, but you're a really good friend. I like talking to you." Akaashi smiled. This caught Bokuto off guard which cause him to blush for a moment before looking back at the tv. 'He's still slightly drunk. He couldn't mean it in that kind of style' Bokuto thought to himself.

Bokuto looked at his phone, it was around 10:30. He looked towards Akaashi who had fallen asleep. He slightly laughed at this and got up. He brought a pillow and some blankets down and set the couch up as a bed for Akaashi.

Bokuto had placed Akaashi's stuff on the table, he was about to leave but he heard Akaashi phone buzzing. He got curious and picked up the phone. It was a bunch of texts from random numbers he checked the messages and was just disgusted. Is this why Akaashi had come over? He blocked some of the numbers and put his phone silent. He sighed and looked over at him. Akaashi was sleeping peacefully which made Bokuto happy. Over the years he had grown fond of the second year. He couldn't place his finger on why, he just did. After staring for a few moments Bokuto headed up to sleep.
