3rd Person POV

(Y/n) on Saturday morning and lay for a while thinking about the book he borrowed. He was nervous, mainly at the thought of what Dumbledore would say when he eventually found out. (Y/n) sat up from his bed reached for his leather satchel and pulled out the old magic book.(Y/n) grabbed his wand from the top of his bedside table and whispered "Lumos", the light blinding him at first until his eyes adjusted. He opened it to the first page, (Y/n) found it hard to read. A lot of the writing was faded, he could make out some words such as "Sparks" and "Flames" but that was about it. As (Y/n) flipped through the old book, he found some incantations. They didn't require anything and what from (Y/n) could tell, they wouldn't spawn anything bad. (Y/n) was going to try it, just because pretty much no one else ever could practice wandless magic, it wouldn't stop him trying. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, he muttered an incantation and opened them when he finished. Nothing happened. (Y/n) sighed in disappointment and moved on to the next incantation. Once more, he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and muttered the next one. Again, nothing happened. (Y/n) closed the book, he was a little frustrated, he hoped he could pick u something. He would make sure that he would return it to Dumbledore in the near future, no use in a useless book.

(Y/n) slept in a little longer and woke up to head to the Great Hall for breakfast. It seemed that everyone else had gotten up early for Harry's Quidditch game. As eleven o'clock approached, the whole school started to make its way down to the Quidditch stadium. (Y/n) noted that it was a muggy sort of day with a hint of thunder in the air. (Y/n) made his way to the stands and caught up with Ron and Hermione (she was annoyed with him that they missed out on breakfast together). They all came over to wish Harry good luck as he entered the locker rooms. The team pulled on their scarlet Gryffindor robes, then sat down to listen to Wood's usual pre-match pep talk.

As the team walked out onto the pitch, a roar of noise greeted them, mainly cheers, because (Y/n) knew that Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff were anxious to see Slytherin beaten, but the Slytherins in the crowd made their boos and hisses heard, too. (Y/n) had to cover his ears to deafen the noise. Madam Hooch, the Quidditch teacher, asked Flint and Wood to shake hands, which they did, giving each other threatening stares and gripping rather harder than was necessary. "On my whistle," said Madam Hooch, (Y/n) could barely hear her over the noise. "Three... two... one..." With a roar from the crowd to speed them upward, the fourteen players rose toward the leaden sky. (Y/n) saw Harry fly higher than any of them, most likely searching around for the Snitch.

For the next ten minutes, (Y/n) had his eyes glued on Harry as Slytherin were making use of their faster brooms. (Y/n) noticed that Slytherin was leading by quite a bit, it didn't help that Harry was being chased by a Bludger. (Y/n) could hear Ron shouting behind him that it was cursed. WHAM! As (Y/n) looked back to the game, he saw Harry take a brutal blow from a Bludger in the arm. The whole crowd (apart from Slytherin) winced and groaned in sympathy. (Y/n) looked around and found Hagrid trying to control Ron's outburst which included many vulgar words towards Slytherin while Hermione covered her eyes, afraid to watch on. (Y/n) then saw Draco trailing very closely behind Harry, he frowned. (Y/n) had an idea that Draco (the talentless git he is) was waiting for Harry to spot the snitch and use his faster broom to catch it. Then (Y/n) saw Harry to a sharp turn leaving Draco stunned as Harry did a loop, he was going straight for Draco. (Y/n) held his breath, he never expected Harry to be so aggressive as he was diving arm outstretched to a petrified Draco. Then (Y/n) saw it. A tiny golden glint above a quivering pale Draco. The snitch was right above the brainless git and Harry was going for it, (Y/n) had to admit, he wasn't much of a fan for Quidditch, but this was absolutely brilliant. In a blazing flash (Y/n) watched in awe as Harry reached out and caught the snitch, it was short-lived as he soon tumbled to the ground, rolling off his broom into the mud. (Y/n) joined, Hermione, Ron, and Hagrid as they pushed their way through the crowd towards Harry. They made their way to Harry as Lockhart stood over him pulling his wand out, with a pool of students around him. Hagrid began shouting at him to stop and leave it to Madam Pomfrey.
