"Oh my, wow! I love this place Lorenzo. It's so beautiful!" Sophia squealed while running towards the mansion, carefully walking over the path that was surrounded by water.

"Slow down sweetheart, you're going to trip." I chuckled whilst picking her shoulder bag that she had dropped.

"It's so large, I love the living room already," she looked around in awe.

I knew she was going to love it. I had even gotten one of the kitchens themed to neon blue, her favourite colour. She spent most of her time searching the fridge or pantry for food so I was aware that she was constantly going to be in the kitchen.

"I'm glad you like it. I'm going to be heading out for a few hours. In the meantime, make yourself comfortable." I winked at her as her lips formed into a pout.

"You're leaving? Well, are we going to be living with someone else?" I shook my head at her question.

"No gattino. We're living here just the two of us. The cleaners will come every morning and sometimes in the afternoon, the private chef has his own house close to ours. He always comes to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner so if you want something in between, you can call him using the landline." I told her.

"Okay. This huge house just for the two of us?" She gazed at the vast room as I smirked.

"Of course bella. Now, if you need me for anything, you have my number." I received my jacket from one of the helpers before putting it on.

"Fine, I'll see you when you return." Sophia waved her hand before walking up the stairs, her hand trailing over the shiny railing.

I smiled to myself before walking out and heading to the large black SUV that was already waiting for me. Her happiness was very contagious. Once I had entered, I pulled out my phone to call José.

"Enzo, did you arrive safely?" Was the first question he asked.

"Yes. Sophia is very happy with the place." I informed him as a small sigh of relief was heard from the other end of the phone.

"Amazing. I hope we catch the Haviers soon, I miss my little girl." His voice was full of sadness.

Life is unfair but another man's meat is another man's poison, I wanted to say to him but that would just sell me out.

"I hope so. You can call her, she's free at the moment." I tried to make him feel better. He chuckled slowly before continuing.

"I'll make sure to. She looks so glowy and happy nowadays, I wonder what she's so happy about," he said in a curious tone. If only he knew the real reason, he'd be sending people to cut my head off.

"Maybe it's just the environment, I have no idea either." I lied through my teeth but it was better than saying the truth.

"Mm well, teenagers are so hard to understand nowadays. The fact that she's our only daughter, we've never had experience-"
