Naeun-Should I just go in?
Suho-Yes, he has been expecting you
Naeun-Alright, I can manage from here

Suho nodded and finally left

Naeun knocked softly on the door before she opened. Kai stood right across the room, awaiting for the arrival of his loved ones

Lily-Papa!

Kai knelt down with wide arms as Lily ran into his embrace

Kai-Hi baby
Lily-I missed you so much
Kai-I missed you too. You have grown up so much since I last saw you

Lily nodded. Kai stood up on his two feet again, facing Naeun

Naeun-Hi
Kai-And I missed you too
Naeun-Same here

She chuckled, a little bit embarrassed. They hadn't met one another for one and a half year, how could she not find this awkward?

But Kai, on the other hand could not hide his feeling any longer. He spontaneously pulled Naeun by her arm and kissed her lips passionately

Kai-Sorry, did I startle you?
Naeun-A little bit

Naeun said shyly

Kai-We should get going
Naeun-Of course. Lily, come

The ballroom was filled with distinct chatters. Hayoung and Namjoo found an empty seats while the other girls had separated from them since a while ago

Namjoo-I'm going to grab a cocktail. You want anything Hayoung?
Hayoung-I'm good. I'll stay here to reserve the seats
Namjoo-Of course

Namjoo got up and left the table to the buffet. Hayoung sighed out of boredom. She obviously regretted coming here

"To the people of Ingrith and Earth, I announce to you the arrival of Crown Prince Kai and Princess Naeun, with their daughter Princess Lily. Please raise as a sign of respect"

Everybody who was seated now raised on their feet, including Hayoung

Prince Kai, Naeun and Lily came out of the curtain and walked into the grand foyer. The guests put their hands together, clapping

"Now I invite Crown Prince Kai to say a few words"

Kai stepped forward. Everyone stayed quiet and paid attention to what the Prince was about to say

Kai-Thank you to the master of ceremony. Good evening to the people of Ingrith, and welcome to the people of earth to our humble kingdom. It was an honour to host such a meaningful ceremony attended by two realms, especially after a serious crisis. However I as the Crown Prince of this kingdom, I want to extend my deepest apology first of all to everyone who had suffered from the war, both Ingrith and Earth people. Families are separated, hearts are broken, many people got hurt and experienced a lot more unfortunate events. And I also would like to send my condolences and hearts to our fallen soldiers who had put their souls fighting for our unity. Even my sweet, little brother, Prince Sehun was almost killed during the war. He was fortunate enough to survive and is recovering slowly for now. He also asked me to send his regards to all of you who attended tonight

However, I have come to a conclusion that we must move forward and leave everything behind. As much as I am happy to be able to stand here with my beautiful soulmate and our daughter, I too, is very happy to see the wide smiles on your faces after reuniting with your family members. Hence, I hereby would be very proud to announce that Bifrost is finally open to everyone in Ingrith, and on Earth to travel from one realm to another, back and forth; of course with our Guardian's observation, Chief General Suho. Let's all celebrate tonight to the fullest. Thank you
