"Are you sure you're going in alone?"

"Sorry, buddy. But only sorcerers were allowed behind this door. How much time do we have left now?"

"According to the clock tower, we only have 30 minutes left."

"Don't worry, my friend. I'll make sure to return before the time runs out."

Lucas said to his friends before he entered the holy temple, located near the square of Zidus, which had been closed for centuries. This was the place where books, magic, and ancient sciences were stored to hold the prosperity of civilization.
As soon as he stood in front of the temple door, his family brooch shone brightly and the door opened on its own.

From the king's words, no one was able to open this door at all after the sorcerer shut it for good. But this place welcomed him as if it had been waiting for him all along.

"I guess the mage creating this place must be one of my great-great-great-grandfathers .... That means that our family already has many descendants of the Magician of Light before my father... There are still many secrets that I didn't know before. So .. If so, after my father, who will be next? But it's definitely not me."

He said as he explored the temple's interior. He found a bookshelf containing many ancient documents. This included magic texts remnants from the past. He had just seen many of them for the first time. What stood out the most was the 6 tall Roman pillars made of crystal glass in the center of the temple. The floor in the middle of those pillars is made of golds and diamonds, engraved with the Westergaard crest.

"I can't believe it !! This is not just a place to keep the ancient documents, but also a temple used for the family's sacred rituals!? So the ancestors lived here long before Oceania was born. It might even be thousands of years old."

Lucas was stunned and confused. Everything he ever knew about his family was just a fraction of the truth. He felt a surge of anger at his father for always hiding this. But on second thought, his father probably didn't even know about it either. There must be some reason that the ancestors of the past chose not to pass it on to the next generations and let the time take its course.

As he stood in the middle of the temple, the emblem on his chest suddenly shone again. This time, the crystal pillar and the ground below shone brightly. The bell rang until the ground shook. Then the souls of the six ancestors appeared out of the crystal bar.

"Oh, what a delight. Finally, a grandchild came to visit us."
"I told you, the Westergaard bloodline will find us. How many hundred years have passed since then?"
"Since that guy left us to build a new city, it's... ah, it's been so long that I completely forgot about it."
"Don't keep talking and leave the poor boy to this confusion. Who should speak first?"
After their short discussion, an elder spirit came to greet him.

"Hello grandson !, I am Asmus, the 4th Generation Magician of Light. You must be descended from Benjamin, right? After he left Zidus to build a new city, he never came back and visit us."

"B.. Master Benjamin? He is my great-grandfather and the first emperor of Oceania."

"Is that so? I take it you were told that he is a powerful sorcerer whose origin is unknown and reincarnated into the human world before building a great empire? But no, actually our family has settled here even before, Benjamin is a seventh-generation."
Asmus began to tell Lucas the story.

"Oh, it's like I've just met my family for the first time.. So what happened then when great-grandfather Benjamin leave Zidus ?"

"This one must be told by his father. Erling! Come tell him."
Asmus summoned another senior spirit to come to him.

"Well, the story is a little long, son. King Sakarias must have told you about the last war, right? Actually, the person who suggested the idea of bringing this city under the water was me. To make this plan work, we must also deceive the enemies.
So I came up with a plan to sacrifice myself by pretending to fight with Benjamin and then being killed by him. Before he lost his mind and destroyed this city himself until the city died and he disappeared ... but in fact, I deliberately handed over the four magic amulets to him. In order for him to use the dimensional tunnel to escape. Before using the self-destructive spell and having Valtteri fire a magic arrow destroying the entire mountain."

"Oh my god, Master Erling, it's a really ingenious trick. But you don't have to sacrifice yourself that much."

"It is necessary, son. The death of a city guardian sorcerer like me will leave no room for doubts on the enemies. Thus, before I took action, I had a bad argument with Benjamin, who stubbornly rejected this reckless plan. But in the end, he was willing to do so to preserve our city and our family."

"After that incident, Benjamin probably relocated to Oceania; a good decision. After the rumors spread, no one dare to challenge him, the new magician of light. Thus he was able to create a new great and formidable empire. But I was secretly disappointed he never returned to Zidus again."

"But at least you'll meet in the afterlife, right?"

"You think so, right? But because the time dimensions here and the world above are different, I haven't had a chance to meet him at all. Until now, I think he's long gone. It's not just him but the descendants of Oceania too. You're the first grandson I met."

"But Master Benjamin's body is still well preserved in the capital! In any case, I could summon all of your souls to Oceania."

"Oh, you don't have to do that! All of us are now the guardians of this city. Just that, with the right time, may you lead this city back to the world above then we can go and visit our family on that side."

"I understand! I will consult with the King on this matter! But now there is something more urgent than that! The eclipse will soon turn 900 years again in a few minutes. The dark factions are using this opportunity to attack this place again! Please advise what I can do!"

"We knew this a while ago! So it's time that what we have always kept safe must be used to protect this city once again!"

With that said, Anton, the 1st Generation Light Mage and the leader of the 6 Senior Spirits summoned a magic wand before handing it to Lucas.

"This.. this is!?"

"This is my personal magic wand. It was the first wand created by the god of war. Although it might not be as powerful as the Dimensional Scepter you've seen. But this wand saved the world from the first war. I'm handing it to you."

When Lucas touches the scepter, he felt an immense power rushing through him.

"Master Anton... Thank you! I promise to do my best!!"
"I know you can do it. Alright! Next up is the second weapon .. Raitis! Your turn!"

Raitis, a second-generation mage, summoned a magic sword.
"This is a magic sword that we have created. Please bring this to the descendant of Midnatthimelsen By the order of the heavens too! And finally... Salomon!!"

Around the same time, Salomon, a third-generation mage. had summoned a magic arrow
"This is a magic bow that can become an infinitely magical weapon. Like Valtteri, bring this to the descendant of Makitalo."

After Lucas had received the three magical weapons, Anton continued.

"Lucas, these three are not just magical weapons. But they are the key to bringing Zidus back to Earth. When the time comes, your kids will know what to do... Alright! It's almost time for a solar eclipse! Hurry up and get ready!"

"Yes, Sir! Oh! There is one more thing! Zidus' mage soldiers aren't ready for battle yet. What should I do?"

"Oh, fighting against the dark side. Mana power alone would not defeat them. You must know advanced spells, which I should have kept around here.."

With only five minutes left, Lucas walked out of the holy temple. He met his companions and sorcerers who were eagerly awaiting.

"Right on time, my friend! But what's inside? Is there a treasure or a sacred spell like the legend has it?"
Immanuel asked out of curiosity.

"Not really... Actually, there isn't any precious treasure. But I have found something more valuable than gold. I'll tell you later. But now I have something for you guys!"
Lucas handed a magic bow and sword to Immanuel and Axel respectively.

"Oh! What a beautiful arrow. Can I really use it?"
Immanuel's eyes sparkled when he saw it.

"Certainly! This arrow is the same type of arrow that your grandfather wielded. I think it's the best fit for your bow! So what do you say, Axel? That sword looks good with you."

Lucas spoke before turning to Axel.
"It's a very beautiful sword, my friend. By the way, is there any reason to give this to me?"
"There was a mage in the Divine Temple made it specifically for you to use in battle. I guess it could do more than fencing for sure."
"Haha, I hope so.. Alright! A solar eclipse is approaching! But I'm afraid that a new weapon alone wouldn't be enough to fight them. Do you have any good plans?"
"About that, we must use advanced magic to help. Now I have everything I need! All right, all magicians! Come gather in front of me!"

After speaking, the entire army of sorcerers in the city gathered in unison. Lucas took out a piece of crystal. Before using the magic wand to cast a spell on a crystal bar, releasing a wave of mana energy contained within it. These energies moved air bound as if it was alive. Lucas had commanded these energies to be absorbed into every mage warrior.
The warriors felt an unprecedented increase in power, including various spells that they had just known

"These are the mana powers that have accumulated crucial magic spells, especially for this battle! Alright, now all of you are already powerful enough to fight against the dark factions!"

The sorcerers felt a lot more uplifted and encouraged.

"Wow, You've been carrying some good stuff again. Haha. You always surprise me."
Immanuel said.

"Oh, this thing, I just received it from the temple. Otherwise, this war will be a huge blow to us. Come on, the time is almost here! Are you guys ready?"
Axel and Immanuel nodded in response before the three of them waited in the Clock Tower courtyard.

Meanwhile, in the outside world, four days have passed, a solar eclipse in 900 years had finally arrived. When the earth's surface was covered with darkness, demons, congregations, and evil spirits were resurrected again. This included those demons released from the underworld coming out to rejoice in the human world again.

At a camp outside the barrier, Marcus noticed the change in the barrier. He too, felt his magic starting to weaken.

"This is the result of a solar eclipse. The Dark Side had been looking forward to it. But it won't be easy for them! I have to hurry and report the chief. It's time to get serious!"

It didn't take long for the Dark armies from all over to reach the barrier. They faced the combined army of the three kingdoms. Although the number of people was lesser, they were incredibly resistant. But still, with this limitation, all the best they did was to delay the attack.

"Your Majesty .. Prince ... I wish you to succeed .."

At the same time, within the territory of the barrier, the three kings also noticed the change after the eclipse.

"It's been 4 days already?!? even though we have only recently entered. We too must hurry to find the city of Zidus!"
Nicolai said, noticing Gregers acting strangely.

"G! Are you okay?"

"Nevermind! I'm okay! But this eclipse is affecting my power. If I'm too weak to handle these amulets, I might lose control over them."
Gregers replied with a visibly tired expression.

"Nicky... if I happen to do something crazy. Please kill me with your sword."

Gregers' words to Nicolai prompted Aleksi to intervene.
"No !!! no way! It won't happen! We've come this far. I'm not going to lose any of you!"

Nicolai was shocked to hear it as well. Even though he was furious, he couldn't do it. Even more so seeing Gregers trying so hard to get a hold of himself.

"G .. No matter how cruel and cold-blooded I am ... I am not a heartless person who would kill someone risking their own lives to save my son!! Maybe it's my selfishness, but until the day the two kingdoms are at peace. You absolutely must not die, do you understand!? That day, the only person I'm going to negotiate with must be you!? Understood? Idiot!!!"

Nicolai responded out loud, pretending to be fierce. But his eyes couldn't hide his true feelings, giving away to Gregers. Gregers was deeply moved. But he tried to hide his feelings and nodded silently.
Aleksi saw it and burst out laughing.

"Oops hahaha! Oh, I'm dying! Both of you don't speak according to your heart. Who was it that said we weren't kids anymore? Hurry up and reconcile! We're too old for this child's play. You don't think I know what had happened? What happened that time, Greg did it to protect you!"

Upon that, the two quickly turned around.
"What !? How did you know about that!?"
"Hmmm, neighbors. Besides, how long have I known you two? Like I don't know your brother, Nicolai."

Before they could talk further, a large number of meteorites fell onto the barrier. Some of the walls were broken. One meteorite was falling towards Gregers.

"Ah!? No !! G ! be careful !!!!!!"

Even Gregers could handle it, but with the soaring speed, he didn't even have enough time to cast a spell.

Thummmpppppp!!

The sound of the meteorite hit the ground in full blast, the surrounding area was damaged extensively.
The trio thought they were gone for good. But when Gregers opened his eyes, he found Nicolai had covered him. There was armor made from the wind keeping them safe from the blast.

"Nicky! How did you do that!?"

"I.. I don't know.."

"You've become another sorcerer, my friend. But that aside, look, guys! The dark ones! Looks like they are trying to break the ground with all they have. Maybe this Zidus City is hiding beneath this place?"
Aleksi spoke, pointing to the dark army flying over the shattered barrier.

"Wait a minute, let me take a look... Really! Very smart, Aleksi! I've caught the children's signal! And also found a huge city under our feet!"
Gregers said excitedly.

"So what are you waiting for!? Take us there, G!"

"We're going in! Hold me tight!!"
