A Small Talk

~~This is part 2 of "A Midday Winter Walk"~~

"Hey Chica... Can we walk for a bit?" Nightmare asked, standing in the doorway to the kitchen. "Sure, I've got time," Nightmare Chica said, taking her apron off. Once Nighatmare and Chica left the kitchen I teleported outside Nightmare Mangle's room. I knocked 4 times and waited for her to respond. A few moments later Mangle's door opened and the torn grayish white fox stood infront of me. "Yes?" "Can I speak with you?" I stated quickly but evenly. I slipped into Mangle's room and she shut the door. "So what's up sugar?" Mangle asked, leaning against the wall. "Well, Nightmare and I have been together almost 5 years now. And I talked with Chica about this the other day but I also want your input," I explained a little. "Ok, What'cha need?" Mangle asked. "Well, I was wondering if I could get some of your opinions on proposing," I asked, feeling my face become a little warm. "Well, if it's to whom you feel is the right person then I believe it's your choice," Mangle said calmly, I could tell she was happy but didn't want to show it too much. Mangle and Chica have been engaged for years now and they've been working on how to get married without having to have a wedding or having to make an expensive trip. "Well, do you think Nightmare is ready for marriage?" I asked feeling my nerves start to tingle. Mangle went silent for a moment. "I do not know. I'm sorry," Mangle said softly. I nodded. 'I don't want to rush things but Nightmare and I fit so well together,' I thought, clenching my fists. "Hey, I'm sure everything will be fine," Mangle said moving to hug me reassuringly. She let go and I smiled a little. 'Nightmare could be mine for the rest of eternity' I smiled softly.
