The Calm Before the Storm

I wake up to Oscar kissing my cheek. "Morning, my dear boy" I said. "Morning mama" said Oscar. George walks inside carrying a tray. "Breakfast for us all" said George. I smile and he sits down. We dig in and once we finish, I go find an outfit. I pull on a pair of skinny jeans, a maroon jumper and boots. I curl my hair and leave it down. I do light make up and go out to the landing. George has Oscar dressed. 

"So, we're in hiding, deep hiding" said George. "We are" I said. "I want this over, Oscar has to see the world, how we saw it before he came back" I said. "And we will, one day" said George. I smile and kiss him. I play with his hands. He smiles down at me. "You look beautiful" said George. "You look so handsome" I said, smiling. I kiss him and smile at him. 

I stand up. "Let's go outside, we will be protected in the ward and have a bit of fresh air" I said, smiling. "Yeah, let's go" said George. We put our coats on and step outside. We sit on the swing set and watch Oscar play in his sand box. "He never had a chance to go outside these wards" I said. "He will, soon" said George. I nod and kiss him.

We go back inside and watch a movie for a couple of hours. Our lunch is simple and nice. I yawn and lie on the sofa. George puts Oscar down for a nap. I groan and close my eyes. I feel George lie beside me. "Fred and Angie are coming over, their using a portkey, the only way to travel now since that idiot is running the wizarding world" said George. I smile. "I better cook some food for dinner" I said. George groans. "Let me cuddle you" said George, whining. I sigh and kiss his cheek. We hear a knock on the door and I stand up. I go to the door and open it. "Fred, Angie come on in" I said. They come in and I begin to cook a roast.  I smile at them and we dig in once Oscar is awake and hungry. "So, how are you both?" asked Fred. "Good, we're loving life but we're sick of hiding, Oscar is missing the world" said George, looking at me. "I wish he was able to see the world, not just this house" I said. "Everything will be fine" said Angie. I nod, sighing. 

Me and Angie clean up after dinner and then they leave. I give Oscar a bath and then he goes to bed at 8. Me and George lay on our sofa, cuddling. "I love you, Ken" said George. "I love you too, George" I said. I smile and kiss him. 

We decide to clean up the downstairs of the house. Once we finish, we go put our pyjama's on and go to bed. I instantly fall asleep in George's arms.

Today was fun, Fred and Angie were amazing, I missed them.
