stupid in love

f/n l/n walked through the crowded halls of shiratorizawa academy, thinking that moving schools would benefit her, that no one would notice her and that she could just go one with her life, but that obviously wasn't the case. she pushed past people, finally arriving at her class, she looked around the room, looking for an open spot, but it seems like there were none,

"you must be l/n, right?"

the teacher asked as he walked over to her,

"that's me."

"you can take the seat back there, beside tendo. tendo, raise your hand please."

she looked to the back of the classroom, a red-haired boy raised his hand, his head rested lazily against his opposite hand. f/n walked back towards the open seat, whispers erupted among her new class. she sat in her seat, looking down at her desk, waiting until everyone quieted down and her teacher started talking. she felt a light nudge on her arm, making her look to her left, a hand outstretched to her,

"satori tendo."

she put her hand into his,

"f/n l/n."

"so, where did you move from, l/n."

"just f/n is fine."

she said as she walked side by side with tendo, who had kindly asked if she would like to sit with him at lunch.

"i came from tokyo."

"tokyo? why'd you move here? it's such a downgrade from tokyo."

"i just needed a change, my old school wasn't exactly working out for me."

"i see."

he responded, he felt like he'd seen her somewhere before, but he couldn't place her,

"so, do you play any sports?"

"volleyball."

"no kidding."

he smiled,

"do you play volleyball?"

f/n asked him,

"yes, i'm a middle blocker."

"figured."

"why do you say that?"

"you have the build, i suppose. you're tall, you just look like you'd be a middle blocker."

he smiled, changing the subject and wrapping an arm over f/n's shoulder,

"so, how is your first day so far? i want to know everything."

"well, i've made one friend and that's you so that's good. nothing else has really happened yet."

"well, you're going to meet more friends. trust me, they are all super awesome and they'll love you. just don't be too intimidated by ushiwaka."
