Tuesday night,
Annie was sat on Johnny's bed, doing homework when there was a knock at the door
"Yeah?" She said and the door opened
Johnny walked insid
"Hey..." Annie said, looking at Johnny
"Hey. Just need my chemistry textbook for tomorrow."
"Oh, ok."
Johnny went over to his desk and pulled out a textbook from the drawer
"You ok?" He asked her
"Yeah... I'm just doing math homework. I don't understand this."
"Give it here." Johnny said as he sat next to her on the bed and looked down at her work
"Any ideas?" Annie asked
"Divide the 34 by 2 and then take away 10." Johnny said
"Really? Thanks." Annie said as she wrote the answer "This baby better get your brains."
"Youve got brains to." Johnny said
"Really?" Annie said with a raised eyebrow
"Yeah, you do. You're good at science and English."
"Youre still smarter." Annie said
"Well, let's hope this baby has my brains and your looks." Johnny said and she blushed
"Shut up." Annie said with a smile as she nudged him
"Do you wanna go out tomorrow, after the scan?"
"What...?"
"I'm not asking you on a date. My dad's given me some money to get some clothes for job interviews. I was just asking... in case you wanna pick something up at the mall or... whatever." Johnny said
"You just want someone to help you get the right clothes, don't you?"
"Yeah, that and a free ride." Johnny laughed
"Are you gonna tell Asher and Hayden about the baby?"
"I'll have to. They're my best friends. Ashers gonna be easy to tell, but Hayden... he's liked you for years." Johnny said "He doesn't even know we slept together at the party."
"I'm sure he'll be ok."
"Hopefully. Hes got a girlfriend, so maybe he's moved on a bit..."
"Haydens got a girlfriend?" Annie asked
"Yeah. Some girl called Hannah."
"I'm surprised."
"Everyone is." Johnny joked "I'm gonna leave you to your homework."
"Night." Annie said as Johnny walked to the door
"Night."
Johnny left the room and went downstairs. He walked over to the sofa as he pulled his shirt off and laid down. He pulled the blanket over himself and slowly fell asleep

The next day,
Johnny and Annie were lead into a private room by a nurse
"So if you just wanna lay down on the bed." The nurse said as she sat next to the bed "And rolled your t shirt up."
Annie laid down and Johnny sat next to her on a chair.
She rolled her t shirt up, exposing her stomach.
"This'll feel a bit cold." The nurse said as she picked up a tube of gel
She squirted some gel onto Annie's stomach and rubbed it around her.
They watched as she turned the monitor on and grabbed the transducer.
The nurse set the device onto Annie's stomach and moved it around
"Is everything OK?" Annie asked
"Yeah... there it is." The nurse said as the baby showed up on the ultrasound
"Holy shit..." Johnny said quietly as he stared at the screen
They looked at the ultrasound screen
"Is... the baby ok?" Annie asked
"Yeah, everything looks fine. Good heartbeat."
"Can you tell the sex yet?" Johnny asked
"No, we can't normally teen until around 20 weeks. We'll be able to tell at your next scan." The nurse said and Johnny nodded his head

A couple of hours later,
Johnny and Annie were at the mall, drinking hot chocolate and the baby scan picture was on the table.
"I can't stop looking at it." Annie said
"Me to..."
Annie sighed before she flipped the picture over
"There you go." She said and they laughed "Have you got everything for interviews?"
"Yeah. Couple of shirts, some pants.."
"Have you got any interviews?"
"I got one in a toys store just upstairs. And a tech store." Johnny said
"Do you know anything about tech?"
"Not a fucking thing." Johnny said and they both laughed "It'd be cool to work in the toy store."
"So you can be paid to play with toys?" Annie joked
"No... the store upstairs does baby stuff as well. If I got a job there, I'd have a staff discount. We could get stuff for the baby cheaper."
"Good plan." Annie said "Look, I'm gonna start looking for jobs too. I don't want you thinking you're doing everything."
"I don't think that. If you wanna get a job, then go for it." Johnny told her before Annie's phone started ringing
She took her phone out of her pocket
"Its my mom." She said and Johnny looked at her as she answered it "Mom?"
"Hey, Annie... look... me and your dad we are sorry for how we reacted. We weren't being fair on you."
"You mean that?" Annie asked her
"Of course I do. We've spoken with Johnny's parents to. And we want to have you all over for dinner tomorrow night. They've already said they'll come and we really want you and Johnny to be there. Give us a chance to talk through all this."
"Yeah. That would be great. We'll be there." Annie said
"Thats great. We'll see you tomorrow then."
"Yeah, bye mom." Annie said before she put the phone down
"What was that?"
"My parents want us to go to dinner tomorrow."
"And I'm guessing we're going?" Johnny said
"Thanks." Annie said with a smile
