I Think He's Special

It was another typical Monday morning when Louis had to make a double-take with the man before him. Leaning up against the desk at the front of the class, with a guitar in his ring-covered hands, the man looked nearly identical to Louis' maths teacher. His tattoos peaked from beneath his shirt sleeves. His hair was laid in a mess, no doubt that his fingers had run through his chocolate locks more than a few times.

Had Louis not been in Mr. Styles' class for a few months, his eyes never leaving the man at the front of the room, he'd never be able to tell the difference between the two men. It was more than obvious that they were brothers, it would have been a very odd coincidence if they weren't related.

The young omega's heart skipped a beat or two as the older man made eye contact with him. The curly-haired man beamed a smile at the now red-faced boy, he had been caught staring by the man himself. His dimples popped out as he smiled, his perfect, pearly white teeth on display.

Niall was beside the emerald-eyed man, cracking jokes like they were best mates, which Louis had already known from Mr. Styles. The blonde omega noticed Louis walking towards the keyboard by his desk. "And this is Louis Tomlinson, my shining star," Niall gushed, "he's a natural on keys, as well as on the field, he's one of Liam's players, captain of the team actually".

"Tommo right?" the man asked with a smirk, "I've heard your name a handful of times. Never thought I'd actually get to meet the famous Louis Tomlinson, it's an honour to meet you".

Niall elbowed his friend playfully before turning back to Louis, "are you excited for your game tonight, Lou? Heard the team your up against is pretty good!" the man teased. He knew how good their own team was, knowing Louis would yet again lead them to victory. He had yet to let his team down. Everyone knew how destroyed the omega would be if he felt he let his team down, how badly he'd feel for allowing them to lose.

"You know I'll never let my team down," Louis smiled brightly, chuckling a bit, "we'll kick their asses". Niall rolled his eyes before he spoke next. "I'm sure you don't want detention with Grimshaw again, so I'd wise up and stop cussing in front of me. One of these days I'll truly have to write you up instead of just letting it slide," the older omega said with a shake of his head.

The Alpha beside them had his eyebrows raised, honestly surprised the young omega felt comfortable enough with Niall to swear, but knowing if the young man was his omega, he'd have been told off for cussing in front of a teacher. It just wasn't polite in the slightest, nor proper.

Louis' smile stayed hung on his face as he turned to look up at the man. With a surge of confidence, the boy reached a hand out for the man. "I'm assuming you're Mr. Styles number two?"

"I'm assuming you're in Mr. Styles number three's class then?" he retorted. Louis squinted as he looked at the man, "so there's really three of you? Your poor mother". And with that, the sassy omega continued on his walk towards the keyboard.

He set his things on the ground beneath his feet as he sat at the bench. Harry was beyond words at the spicy little thing that just spoke to him like that. Niall tried to contain his laughter but couldn't. Grasping onto the edge of the desk, the blonde man cackled. His eyes watered as he looked between an unbothered Louis and his shocked best friend.

"He's something else, that kid," Niall said proudly, "he keeps all of us on our toes. You'll like him. He cracks a few jokes, makes a couple of funny comments, and then continues on to play the most beautiful music I've heard from a student as if nothing had happened. He's amazing, that one".

For the remainder of the class, Louis stayed put in his seat, his head lowered and his eyes closed as he played pieces he had memorized by heart. He was quiet, his fingers lightly tapping at the keys. His music was beautiful, Harry had to admit, he was surprised that the football captain was this good with music.

As the class came to a close, Louis reluctantly grabbed his things before heading to his next class. Harry watched on as the sassy boy made a few more jokes before walking out the door. It all made sense to Harry now. It was like his world pieced itself together.

He couldn't decide what to call the feelings and thoughts he was dealing with. But he could now understand why his brother had mentioned the boy a fair share more than other students. There was something special about that Tomlinson pup and Harry knew this wouldn't be the last time he was there to see the boy.

"I'll do it," Harry said as he turned towards Niall. The silence of the now near-empty classroom was loud enough to make the silence even more nerve-wracking. "Really? You know the pay for this would be shit, right?"

"I know, but I need something to do. Lia doesn't really want me playing shows too much longer. She wants us closer to home. That's why Marcel left the Uni. Why Edward and her have been fighting more than usual. She wants her mates around more".

Niall let out a sigh, he didn't hate Amelia, but he never really liked her. Something was off about her but he didn't know what. He just knew she didn't love the triplets with her whole heart as they deserved.

"It'll only be a couple of days a week, but if you're sure, then that's fine. You'll just have to go to the office and finish the paperwork. I'm sure the kids wouldn't mind having you here".

Harry hoped deep within himself that a certain omega would like him to be there. He didn't know why he felt like he needed to make that specific boy happy, why he wanted to show the boy he was proud of him and his many talents. He didn't quite understand why his brother never stopped talking about him, but he knew he could feel a pull towards Louis. But sometimes these feelings within yourself lead you onto journeys you never imagined going on.

His low-heeled boots clicked across the linoleum flooring as he walked down the halls after saying goodbye to Niall. As he walked towards the main office, he made a stop at his younger brother's classroom. Leaning his side into the doorframe, the door open as he met his brother's eyes. "So I met him," Harry breathed out, "I think you're right. I think he's special."
