After Toni's rush of adrenaline, the tears did end up falling. She was crying from a mix of shock, but also tears of happiness because she finally stood up to her father and now, she's away from him. For good hopefully.

"You did such a good job, I'm so proud of you!" Veronica exclaimed happily as she hugged the crying girl. "That was so girlboss of you."

Toni didn't know what that meant but she giggled a bit through her tears.

Cheryl came out of the building a few minutes later with a busted lip, but other than that she looked fine. "Hey...ready to go?"

Toni nodded.

When they got to Cheryl's house to smiled a bit. She was finally away from her dad and all of his bullshit.

"You can sleep in the same room you were sleeping in before." Cheryl informed her, opening the door. "V isn't living here anymore, but she's gonna come back right?" She turned to Veronica.

"Oh yeah." Veronica nodded. "But I kind of still wanna be a spy for a bit longer." She smirked a bit.

Toni had to admit, after cuddling with someone to fall asleep for a few weeks, it was much harder to fall asleep now that she was alone.

"Antoinette," Elio said softly as he sat down onto the bed. Toni had been napping for quite sometime now, and it was nearly 10 o'clock at night already. He learned that Toni could sleep no matter what at night; even if she took a long nap during the day.

"Hmm." Toni hummed sleepily as she shifted a bit.

"I'm going out with a few of my friends, but I don't know when I will be back." He informed her. "Will you be okay here on your own?"

"You're leaving?" Toni was suddenly wide awake now. She still got a little paranoid when she was alone, but Elio hadn't left her since what happened.

"Just for a few hours." He reached out to tuck some hair behind her ear, before stroking her cheek with his thumb.

A few hours later, found Toni sitting against the headboard, unable to fall back asleep. It was nearing 1 AM and Elio still hadn't come home yet.

She checked the alarm clock for the time, before she heard the lock on the front door clicking.

Hiking the blankets higher up the bed so they could be pulled over over her face, but still under her eyes, she waited until the bedroom door opened before she sighed in relief and Elio was chuckling.

"Still not asleep yet?" He asked.

"No." Toni answered. "I was waiting for you." She said sheepishly.

Elio went over and kissed her cheek. "I'll take a shower and stuff and then get in bed okay?"

Toni nodded.

Once Elio got out of the shower and ready for bed, he got behind Toni and pulled her back into him, much like the time they first cuddled.

Toni turned around though, and snuggled her face into his chest. She seemed to like this cuddling position the best.

Toni's eyes began closing as she got lost in her thoughts before she was out cold.

The next morning when she awoke, she went down stairs, finding Cheryl and Veronica. Her father wasn't there this time.

"Good morning Toni." Veronica smiled. She had spent the night last night, but today she would be going back to her parents house.

"Morning." Toni rubbed her eyes with a yawn.

"Breakfast should be ready in a few minutes." Cheryl informed her.

"Don't worry Thomas...I have some dirt on Cheryl that would make Antoinette come back in an instant. Plus, I'm not gonna file for divorce. Chances are, in a few weeks she'll forget about it, and then I can swoop in." Elio laughed through the phone.

"Okay, son." Thomas said. "I just don't want my daughter forgetting what she was taught. I mean, who taught her she was aloud to talk to me the way she did yesterday?"

"I don't know. Maybe I shouldn't have let her watch youtube."

"Yeah, definitely not."
