Toni ended up getting a lot of stuff. Much more than she expected to get.
Santa gave her a phone, her own nintendo switch with animal crossing and amiibo cards. Cheryl got her hoodies and sweat pants because Toni had been complaining about not having any, and a camera. Her first camera ever. It was a simple polaroid camera, and Toni was over the moon excited about it.
Ironically enough, Veronica got her a phone case, and some film for her camera.
Toni didn't have any money to get anyone anything, but Cheryl took her to get Veronica something, and Veronica did the same.
Right now though, they were heading to a christmas party. Apparently Cheryl's mom and dad throw one every year and she's forced to go.
"Why do you hate it so much?" Toni asked genuinely as they rode in the car.
"It's 'cause she has to see her brother and they hate each other." Veronica explained.
"Why?"
"When I was sixteen my parents kicked me out because I was a lesbian." Cheryl sighed being used to telling this story. "I had a lot of cash in my bank account though because my grandma left all her savings to me before she died, so I used that to get an apartment...and Jason- since we were twins- he had all my information and stole literally all my money. So then, Veronica and I got kicked out of our apartment for not paying rent so we lived with my girlfriend and her family."
Toni didn't know what to say; she was beyond shocked.
"Then I didn't see any my mom or dad til last year when they heard my wife was having our baby. They suddenly wanted me back in their life, and wanted to be apart of Sofia's life."
The little baby fell asleep in her car seat.
They pulled up to large black gates with a golden B in the middle. They automatically opened, and Toni's eyes went wide at the sight. They were living in a huge mansion.
"Welcome to Thornhill." Veronica turned to Toni with a smile.
Toni looked around as they drove up the driveway.
Sofia started whining as she woke up from her nap, so Toni reached over and tickled her stomach a bit. "It's okay, Sofia." She cooed.
She didn't notice Cheryl looking at her through the rear view mirror.
"Okay. Let's go." Veronica cheered excitedly as she left the car. Toni followed but waited for Cheryl.
Cheryl grabbed Sofia and wrapped her fluffy blanket around her. "I know, baby. I hate it here too." She kissed the whining baby's cheek.
They walked to the door of the house but it was already wide open because Veronica just walked right in.
There was a decent amount of people, not too much to where you can barely breath, but enough where it would still be considered a party.
"Cheryl! Long time no see!" Archie Andrews yelled, making everyone's attention go on them. Cheryl hadn't been in this house since her parents kicked her out, and hasn't seen a lot of these people since then either.
"Yeah..." Cheryl said awkwardly, holding her baby.
"Who's the kid? You baby sitting?" He then asked.
"No jackass, this is mine."
"Oh...sorry." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, before turning to Toni and furrowing his eyebrows. "Hey aren't you Elio's wife? Antoinette right?"
"Uh...I was his wife...but um...we're getting a divorce...soon i think." Toni stammered, wondering how this man knew her, and about her marriage- if you can even call it that.
