Harrys P.O.V.

"FIRE!" I hear someone scream. "FIRE!" The people around me start to scream and panic. They rush towards the door. I stay and start directing the screaming people to safety. The last few people run out of the front door and I follow. I get outside, and look at the crowd of people in front of the building. It chaos! Wait, where's Victoria? I scan the crowd. I don't see her. The firemen haven't arrived yet. Only a few police are here. I make a run for the building. An officer stops me. "You can't go in there!" He says. "I have to, someone very important to me is trapped in there!" I demand, as I push past the officer. He chases after me. I run like an idiot into the burning building. I get inside and turn around as part of the second floor caves in and blocks the door, before the officer gets inside. I rush up the stairs, and start to run up to floor "18." A major adrenaline rush, flashes through my veins and allows me to keep running. I reach the floor and push through the door at the top of the steps. I look around. "VICTORIA!" I call out, "VICTORIA, WHERE ARE YOU?" I look through the rubble and debris on the ground for her... No luck. Where is she? Is she okay? Is she already outside? Questions come racing through my brain as I continue to search for her.

Victoria's P.O.V.

The fire comes rushing out of a room and almost catches me. I run in the other direction. I spot the stairs and run towards them. My heart beats faster and faster. I am almost there, when a burning pillar falls right in from of me. "HELP!" I scream, "Somebody please help me!" Nobody comes. Another pillar falls to the ground. My eyes burn from the smoke. My mouth is dry. My lungs sting from the lack of fresh air! I can't breath! I take off my jacket and cover my mouth with it, and turn and run the other way. I duck to avoid a falling chandelier as it crashes to the ground and shatters. The shards scatter and scrape my face. I can't see through the blood dripping off of my head. My world starts to spin. I fall to the ground and grab onto a chair. My world still spins. My vision fades in and out, as the fiery beast around me threatens to consume me. It starts to close in. I'm not going to make it out! I'm not going to survive! Tears rush to my eyes. I'm going to die in this living hell! I see harry! He is blurry! Is this real or am I imagining it? It's real! He doesn't see me though. I try to scream out his name, but my words get caught in my smoke-filled throat. I try to stand but I fall to the ground. I hear the sirens of fire trucks now. They become louder. Harry turns to the sound. Then he spots me.

"Victoria!" he says as he rushes over to me. "Are you okay?" I look up at him, unable to answer. He sees the pain in my eyes. He scoops me up and runs down the hallway. He jumps over burning furniture, and dodges falling lights and celling tiles. He gets to the stairs and carries me down. When we get downstairs, a gurney is waiting there. Harry gently places me on it as paramedics surround me. They roll me out of the front door. The light burns my eyes and the fresh air pierces my lungs. Then, everything goes black.

...

I wake up on a hospital bed, to the sound of doctors. I open one eye and see Harry talking to some doctors. I quickly pretend to sleep as Harry looks over at me. "Will she be okay?" He asks.

"Yes, says the doctor on the left of Harry. She can probably go home today, after a few more tests.

"Oh good!" Says Harry, relieved. "...um can I have a moment." He says as he gestures towards me. "Of course, Mr. styles," says the doctor, as he leaves the room.

Harry walks over to me and sits on my bed, next to me. He reaches out his hand, and brushes some hair from my face. I continue to pretend to sleep. I open my eyes a tiny bit, so i can see him. He looks at me and tilts his head to the side and smiles. Then he bends down and kisses my forehead. He gets up and walks towards the door. He carefully turns the handle, as to not wake me and he exits the room.

After about fifteen minutes, a doctor comes in and "wakes" me up. " okay," he says, "you have some cuts on your head, but otherwise, you're ready to go home. I reach up to my scratched up head. "That's wonderful!" I say as he helps me out of bed. "Thank you" I walk to the front desk and check out. "Thank you," says the lady at the counter. She goes back to her work. What about the bill? "So are you just going to mail me the bill?" I ask, confused. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry," says the lady, "I forgot to tell you. A nice young man paid your bill." Harry turns the corner. "Oh hi, are you okay?" He asks worried. "I'm fine. You didn't have to pay my bill though." I say. "Would you like to take a walk?" we turn and walk through the front door. "It's the least I can do, Victoria," he replies.

"If anybody owes anything, it's me! You saved my life Harry. Your a hero..." At that, he closes his eyes and starts to lean in to me. I instinctively do the same. Our lips are about to touch. Then I pull away.

"What's wrong?" asks Harry. "I can't do this," I look away. "I already have a boyfriend. I was only in that office building to bring him lunch. You saved me and I am grateful for that, but my heart belongs to my boyfriend, Jason." Harry turns away. "Oh...Could we still text though?"

"Sure" I say as I take out a pen and a piece of paper. I write down my number and hand it to him. I see the hurt in his eyes. "I'm sorry Harry."

"It's fine, I understand," he says as he fakes a smile.

"Bye Harry," I walk up to him and kiss him on the cheek.

His eyes light up immediately. "Bye Victoria!"
