Well here I go, it won't be that bad. The worst thing that could happen would be getting killed by him or his monsters. I hope not. I thought.

I sigh and knock.

After the third knock I hear his voice.

"Come in"

I almost melt, it's true the only weakness I have is him. It takes some effort, but I walk in.

"How can I help you?" He said, now only facing the green tinted window.

" Sorry to bother, I was just seemingly excited to see the eye of Zuan.." I say.

He turns to face me. I was holding myself on the chair in front of his desk. He's face showed nothing, it was unreadable.

The only thing he said was,

" seems like I can't recognize you. You're wearing a gas mask. Are you not from here?" He questioned

"Well you can't really say that. I am from here..... left a couple years ago"

He listened. With curiosity in his eyes and only in his eyes the rest of his face stayed unreadable

I finished, then he said it. The words I had planned he'd say.

"Take it off then" it was not a question, it was a demand.

It took seconds, we were both staring at each other. He seemed to be staring daggers when all I gave him was an intimidating but soft stear.

I broke it off with,

"If you insist," I said, my tone coming out silvery.

I took it off, my hair plopping down onto my shoulders. The smooth and shiny brunette hair landing. My heart thumped rapidly to the point I couldn't doubt he could hear it. I tilted my head slightly to the left and watched as he studied every part of my face.

Did he figure it out, I hope so. Was all I could think of. Finally I get to see him again a bit changed. Now instead of two dazzling blue eyes, they were mismatched. One blue, glowing with the moon light that hit the window. The other is more stunning... The eye was colored black with a splash of orange and red. Breathtaking indeed.

"It's been so long, Slico" I say delighted to see him again.
