Recklessness

(I apologies for the late (and kind of short) chapter, I've been writing for days and my juices are starting to run dry. But, I will continue to right, maybe just a little more spaced out, rather then every single day. With out further ado... the chapter)

Albedo was walking to art class when Timaues caught up with him. "Hey, how was science?" He asked. Albedo smirked. "It was good. How was anatomy?" Albedo looked sideways at Timaeus. He had an annoyed look on his face. "Let's just say... it isn't what I thought I'd be." He said. Albedo laughed slightly. "Told you so. Besides, what did you think it would be?" Timaeus just rolled his eyes. "You know what I thought it would be." The two made their way over to art class. They entered the room, and sat next to each other.

The art room was a fairly small room. Well, it would be bigger if there weren't so many canvases and stools. Light poured in from both sides of the room, and the teachers desk was at the very front of the room. The canvases weren't very large either. They were also thin, but perfect for their projects.

The last few students entered, and the art teacher began. "Today, you will be painting a place." She said, "It can be somewhere from town, a place from history, anywhere. Those are the only restrictions. Have fun!"

She said, as she sat down at her desk. Everyone opened up their paints, and got out their pencils. Albedo decided that he was going to draw a mountain. It had swirling clouds at the top, and a large rib cage on the side. It was sheer and cold; filled with snowy air, and harsh drops.

Although, his work was significantly harder this time. He could not get a particular someone out of his head. Timaues noticed his distraction and asked, "hey dude, you alright?" Albedo nodded at him, and tried to make up a lie. "Just tired." Although Timaeus looked at him suspiciously, he said nothing. They continued painting.

Albedo's mind betrayed him as he tried to paint. Bringing back a familiar face. He ended up finishing it miraculously, and turned it in at the last second. "Do you have a name for this place, Mr. Kerindeprinz?" Albedo cringed at the use of his last name. He hated how long it was, how hard it was to pronounce. But, he wasn't ready to take on Diluc or Jean's last name.

"Dragon Spine." Albedo said, hoping that the distaste for his name didn't show. The art teacher looked at him, then the painting. "It's very well done. Mr. Kerindeprinz." Ah, there it was again. "You're dismissed," she said. Albedo and Timaeus collected their things, and left.

The two were talking about what they had painted. Timaeus had painted a potion shop, and Albedo had done Dragon's Spine. They almost made it to their lockers, Albedo heard a small gasp. He looked over and saw Pallad, or as everyone in the school knows him, Reckless Pallad. He had just pushed Sucrose into the lockers, and ran off before a teacher saw.

Albedo went over to Sucrose, and helped her collect her books and notes that fell when she was pushed. "Are you okay?" Albedo asked, after grabbing all of her books and handing them to her. "Y-Yeah. I'm fine," she said. Albedo passed the books off to her, and their hands lingered there for a moment too long. They looked at each other, before Sucrose cleared her throat, and took the books. "Thank you, Albedo." Sucrose said as she put the books away in her locker. "No problem, Sucrose." He said. The bell rang and Albedo went back to his locker to get everything he needed for his next class. Gym.

(Like I said, short and kind of short kind of crappy, maybe if I get my motivation I'll redo it, but rn I'm gonna go... So, I'll see ya'll later!)
