"Well, most of the quirks are working on emotions, but I thought that yours was depending more on the strength of your body." Aizawa explained "well, I guess I was wrong. Which makes more sense, because your body, is, uh..." Aizawa looked at him for a second "...weak." Izuku rolled his eyes.
"So, to control your quirk better, you need to control your emotions better while using it. Because if you use it depending on your physical body only, it'll be hard for you."
"And it looks like the only emotion that works with it is anger, so good luck with that."
"It could be a start, you know. Even though anger is a really strong emotion, and controlling it might be actually really hard, but you could start small. What are things that just annoy you?"
"UA."
"I'm not surprised."
"Of course you're not."
"-anyways, try to control your emotions as you use your quirk, and-"
Honestly, Izuku stopped listening at some point. He knew it wasn't going to work. Well, it was pretty obvious that his quirk was working on his emotions, but Aizawa knew basically nothing about him, or about his quirk. It was sweet how he tried to help, but it didn't work. So, controlling your emotions was a good way, but Aizawa described it as let the anger go down and disappear and all this shit. It wasn't going to work, obviously.
"So, you understand?" Aizawa asked and Izuku nodded, acting like he actually listened. "yeah, sure, ok" Izuku half mumbled and Aizawa nodded as well.
"Alright, let's try it then"
Izuku then faced the large box in front of him.
Alright, so, emotions.
He figured that the strongest emotion was anger.
He aimed his hands at the large box. Alright, anger.
But, even though it was the strongest, it was still the most unstable one.
Izuku carefully aimed his hands at the box and closed his eyes.
Then, he started thinking.
Everything went black.
Izuku immediately opened his eyes, and he wasn't at the beach anymore (the place Aizawa chose for training, the beach was full of trash so no one came to it anymore, and it was the perfect place for Izuku to practice his quirk) Aizawa wasn't there, everything was just void.
Izuku heard someone walking behind him, and he turned around and saw...
Himself.
Well, it wasn't a mirror or anything. It was literally him standing in front of him.
The younger him just stood in front of him, and smiled.
And he was.... hurt. Very badly.
the younger version of him looked..... 9? 8, maybe?
He had a black eye, a trail of dry blood went from his forehead to his chin, and from his nose to his mouth. He also had some bruises on his cheeks.
