"Thank you," I say looking at Oliver while stretching my arms a little. I lay down to pretend to fall asleep as they walk out. I waited for what seemed like 2 hours to make sure they wouldn't come back in. I got up and made my way toward the window as quietly as I could, then opened it. As I slipped out the window the leaves and branches crunch loudly and I started running as fast as I could. I heard them yelling, I guess they went into the room and they weren't happy.

I heard leaves crunching and branches breaking while they were catching up fast. I would have to hide until sunrise but I don't even know if I went the right way I just ran. I eventually saw the water ahead of me and saw to my right what seemed like a hill so I ran to it. As I was running I found it was a cave-like place near the sandy beach and hid inside. I saw shadows pass the entrance of the cave while I hid in the back in the shadows.

I sat quietly waiting for light to eventually start pouring into the cave. I got up, and ran towards the water not looking around while trying to swim far from the Island. I didn't make it far before I'm being dragged back to the beach while I'm struggling to get out of the grip. I'm thrown onto the beach, then I see Oliver by the water and Asher running towards us along the edge of the woods to my left.

"I told you not to do anything you would be dead," he spat out like venom. He grabbed my arm just as Asher made it to his side, grabbing my other arm. They dragged me halfway to the cabin but it slowed them down so Oliver put me over his shoulder carrying me the rest of the way. They put me in the same room as before, but now the window was boarded up. He had tossed me on the bed, and they tied my arms to the bed again, I guess they didn't want to take any more chances.

Asher walked out of the room leaving Oliver and I alone. I lay there trembling as Oliver paces around the bed in deep thought. He put a cover over me, as I tried to move further from him. He seemed hurt by the action. "I'm sorry I tried to escape just please don't kill me, I don't want to die," I pleaded.

He reached his arm out to my face and he had moved a piece of hair out of my face and said,"I don't want to ever hurt you, baby." I just shook my head thinking this must be a dream or something. He wouldn't actually say this, right?

"Are you joking? You killed my sister and kept threatening to kill me but now you don't want to kill me?" I asked confused and almost yelled at him. This boy is so confusing, does he want to kill me or help me?

"You should sleep, you must be tired after all the running you did," he said simply like that would fix everything, but I did feel tired. My eyes started to feel heavy and I could hardly keep them open. Within a few minutes I was asleep, but it wasn't a peaceful sleep, it was a nightmare about my family.
