Happy Thoughts

Pills every day to keep me smiling for no reason and memories over a lifetime. In the air, in the sea, and in the things I eat. I smile. Oh, I smile all through my day. My days are short, and only some are here to stay. Home by the time I wake. Never know how I end up home. There is no care to give.

I see a picture of my sister and think about the times. Oh, I smile. She looks so happy...no... We once looked happy. Oh, I smile. Why was he sitting in the back with a bat? Ready to swing at something dim. Oh, I smile. Why do I cry when I look at it. Is it's only a happy picture? OH, I SMILED.

Oh, I smiling too. I remember my dog happy and filled with life. Happy. Yes, he was. The dog I love-...loved?

Loved?

I take a pill to remember what happened that day. Oh, I smiled at that pictures. After we went inside. We ate Mac & hot dogs. After, we walked the dog and put him to sleep outside. Right next to the great big tree.

Big tree? Yes, that is right, the tree, I remember. My brother swung that bat. I never wounded what he hit. For all I remember, he hit a squirrel. Oh, I smile. I remember that growling sound it made. Was dead real soon. What a wonderful day. Well, at least I remembered it that way.
