Sana had just finished practicing at the dance club with Nayeon, and they are now on their way back to their classroom.

As soon as they stepped inside, Sana noticed new gifts from her secret admirer on her table.

Nayeon teasingly smiled and nudge Sana, saying, "You got another present, how I wish Jeongyeon would give me surprise gifts on my table as well."

"How can she give you gifts and place them on your table when she's from another school?" Sana chuckles. "It would take her a long time to sneak here in our school."

Nayeon just pouted and went to her table to gather her belongings because it was time for them to go home.

Sana first arranged her belongings and received the letter, which was attached to a bouquet of red roses.

"I'm ready to meet you; I'll meet you after class at the Wansue Café. I've reserved a table for us:) C.T"

Sana quickly checked her wristwatch, it had been 40 minutes since class had ended, which meant her secret admirer had already been waiting for her at the café for nearly an hour.

"I was just wondering, when are you going to meet that person?" Nayeon inquired of Sana.

Sana smiled at her and said, "I will meet her today, Nayeon!" with a glimmer of excitement in her eyes.

"Really?" Nayeon exclaimed, "Why are you still standing there? Go meet her!"

Sana laughed and quickly grabbed her bag as well as the roses on the table. "I'll see you tomorrow, Nayeon byee,"

Nayeon smiled broadly as she watched Sana run excitedly down the hallway.

Nayeon felt her phone vibrate in her hoodie pocket, and when she looked at it, she saw that Jeongyeon was calling her. She quickly grabbed the phone.

"Yes, love?"

"Where has Sana gone?"

When Jeongyeon sounded down, Nayeon's brow furrowed.

"Why do you sound so down? Did something bad happen?" Nayeon inquired, concerned.

"Just tell me where she is," Jeongyeon said flatly, ignoring Nayeon's query.

Nayeon had the impression that something bad had occurred.

"S-she said she was going to meet her secret admirer, but why?"

Nayeon heard Jeongyeon sigh and someone speak to Jeongyeon. The voice was so weak that she couldn't understand what the person was saying to Jeongyeon.

"I won't be able to pick you up today; please return home safely,"

"Wait--"

When Jeongyeon abruptly hung up the phone, Nayeon was unable to finish her sentence.

Nayeon sighed, clearly concerned about Jeongyeon.

Sana, on the other hand, eventually arrived at the cafe because it was not far from their school.

She panted heavily as she ran with all of her strength. She remade herself because she appears exhausted when, in fact, she had just finished dance practice and then ran quickly to get to the location.

But then her phone began to vibrate on her bag. Before entering the café, she gets her phone.

She opened her phone to find an unknown caller and twenty missed calls from the unknown number.

'Who is this?'

Sana pondered as she answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Is this Ms. Minatozaki Sana?" asked the woman's voice.

Sana's brow furrowed in perplexity.

"Yes, this is me. Who is this?"

"I'm a nurse from Seoul General Hospital, and I'd like to inform you that your father is currently in critical condition after being involved in a car accident."

Sana's knees weakened because she couldn't say anything. She was taken aback when she discovered that her father was in critical condition.

Sana clutched her phone tightly and dashed out of the café.

'I'm sorry,' she mumbled, knowing that she wouldn't be able to meet the person she wants to see for a long time.

Tears are welling up in her eyes as she hopes her father will be fine when she arrives. She does not wish to lose her father.

But faith is really cruel. Her father died as soon as she arrived at the hospital.

Sana was simply crying silently beside her mother, who was also sobbing loudly while sitting on the floor.

Sana recently lost her father on the first day of winter.

Jeongyeon, on the other hand, had just emerged from the other room. Her eyes are puffy, and her nose is red from crying.

While out walking, she noticed a familiar figure and realized it was Sana.

She noticed Sana sobbing with her mother.

Jeongyeon wanted to approach Sana and tell her something, but she stopped herself because it was not the right time and she knew it would hurt Sana even more.
