Twilight cringed at the smug smirk of Sombra as he sneered down at her, holding her captive in his magic. "Well what do we have here?" The dark unicorn asked cruely. Twilight struggled to free herself, but she was so weak, she was powerless. She worried about Applebloom alone in the library, the red haired filly had no idea what was going on. "Well my dear," Sombra continued condesendingly. "I was going to poison your mother after your wedding to my son, which would be in 6 months." Twilight realized what that meant, Twilight's birthday was in 6th months. He had planned to keep her well enough to stand until the wedding, and poison her mother, then, when she was at deaths door and her mother was gone, his son would have full control over the kingdom. Once he did, Sombra would kill Shining and be the sole ruler of the kingdom! When she said so, Sombra's smirk seemed to grow even wider, if that was possible. "Allas," Sombra sneered, "That is now impossible, so I have a new plan." Twilight grew more and more worried as Sombra outlined his scheme to her. "We must find a way to get you out of the way, and then the wedding will have to be cancelled when the fair princess is simply to ill to continue." He paused to grin at the now thouroughly terrified princess before finishing. "Of course there will be a get well party for our dear princesses, and the cake reserved for your cake loving mother might just have root of storm crystal in it." Twilight felt sick, her purple face turning white. Storm crystal was one of the deadlyist poisons known to ponydom! Sombra was still talking though. "After the unfortunate passing of our kind queen, there is know one to take the reigns but my noble son, and at his corination, it is but a small thing to slip the same poison into his food. And I will rule just like I always wanted.  A small grin came on Twilight's face as she pointed out the flaws in Sombra's plan. "You forget Applebloom is waiting for me at the library, she'll know something is up when I don't return." Sombra's smile became even oilyer if that was even possible. "You truly don't understand my capabilities little princess." He used his magic to throw the filly into a cage, and then pulled out a mirror showing Applebloom asleep in the library. Twilight gasped as Sombra said once more, "Would you like to watch me in action princess?" Sombra then left the room and Twilight had barely enough energy to keep her eyes open and watch as the villianess royal adviser woke her sister. (Applebloom opened her eyes to see Sombra standing over her. Frightened, she scooted back, but Sombra said in a worried tone, "Your sister is not well." Did he mean he mean Twilight? Applebloom knew that already but he seemed to be saying sompen worse had happened. "Is Twi alright?" The worried earth pony asked. Sombra again took on that awful simper, "she fainted and was sent to the infermary, her vital signs don't look well." Applebloom was supicious of Somba, like Twilight, she didn't trust the coniving unicorn in the least bit and believed he had something to to with her sister going missing. Applebloom said, alraght in a fake agreement as Sombra attempted to steer the princess to her bedroom, the filly planning to tell her sisters, though she could barely stay awake.)

Twilight struggled to keep in her anger, the weakened pony vibrating with fury as Sombra strolled back into the room surveying the trapped alicorn smugly. "Now what should we do with you my dear? Well I have an idea," he finished, striking the filly with her magic and knocking her unconcious, When she awoke, Sombra was again smirking. "Now I will win," said, opening the portal to the underground lake and unlocking the cage. Unable to stop herself, Twilight walked into the portal and sailed over to the pavilion, now trapped in a curse even more tangled than her sisters. Sombra explained she would be forced to dance for 22 hrs a day. The only time ponies would be able to see her, besides her sisters who would see her at night, would be 12-1, as she was simply too ill any other time. To prevent anyone from finding out his scheme, he would have a crystal pony nurse guarding Twilight during those times. Twilight's heart sank, and she hoped everything would be alright. As Applebloom slept, she saw Sombra standing in front of her helpless little sister grinning. Applebloom ran to Twilight, but the dark pony blasted the alicorn to dust before she could get close enough. Applebloom cried out in horror, but then the scene changed. Applebloom was now in the underground kingdom, watching her other 10 sisters dance theirselves to exaustion. she tried to run to them, but found she couldn't move. The red haired filly watched helplessly as Sunset fell to the ground for the final time. And suddenly Sombra raised his horn to do Applebloom in when a blast of blue magic popped Sombra out of existence. Applebloom looked on in awe as a majestic blue alicorn flew down beside her. "My name is Luna," said the alicorn. "Queen of the breezies and guardian of dreams. Applebloom stepped back in a clumsy curtsy, but Luna was having none on it. "Oh please stand up little filly," Luna urged in a motherly tone. "I cannot counter Sombra's magic, for he is too powerful, but with this mirror you might be able to speak with your sister." She then pulled out a silvery fabric and gave it to Applebloom with her magic. Make sure this get's to your guard friend. "Thank you your highness!" Applebloom thanked and Luna giggled, "Just Luna my dear!" She responded before disappearing in a poof of blue light. Applebloom woke up, but found the mirror had been placed on her nightstand and looked into it and said, "I wish to see Twilight sparkle." After she spoke, the mirror glowed purple, and Twilight's face appeared in it, Applebloom started to explain her dream, but Twilight seemed to know already. "Luna came here right after talking with you and told me everything." Applebloom sighed in relief and began talking her sister, who hadn't wasted time grabbing a silver, gold, and diamond twig from the trees, and placed them in a goblet. Sombra had forgotten to prevent Twilight from taking things out of the magic land. Applebloom could notice her sister looked about to pass out, sweat glistened on her face and her mane was a dirty and disheveled mess of tangles. As the time passed, the 2 sisters began to sing.
