Kastuki was enjoying a peaceful day off at home from his usual busy schedule, Ochako reading on the rocking chair next to him. She was trying not to smile at whatever had just happened in her book, but the corners of her lips kept on shooting up. Watching his wife of over 20 years, Katsuki could help but smile himself. He had always loved her smile and he though that it was still as contagious as it was during their school days.

When she was just about to burst laughing a scream pierced through the house.

Ochako dropped her book and was out of the room faster than Katsuki could even process. In less than a heartbeat though, his habits of many years of being one of the top heroes kicked in and he followed his wife down the hall and then the stairs.

Ochako was nearly running, taking the stairs two or three at a time and then turning into the living, freezing on the spot. Katsuki watched as she exhaled and her tense shoulders relaxed a bit.

"Etsuko!" Katsuki shouted his daughter's name when he too rounded the corner to see the blonde girl standing in front of the sofa and holding a piece of paper in her shaking hands. "Don't fucking scream like that ever again. You nearly gave me and your mother a heart attack."

"I got in." Etsuko whispered softly.

Just like that any trace of fear left Ochako's face.

"What?" The woman shrieked clapping her hands together as if she was still a small child, smiling again. An identical smile spread onto their 17 year old daughter and Katsuki couldn't help but think to himself that despite Etsuko looking like a female copy of him, and usually having his attitude as well, when the girl smiled she looked just like Ochako.

"I got in!" The girl screamed this time and ran to hug her parents. "Fuck, yeah! I got in!"

"You got in!" Ochako shouted as well with happy tears running down her cheeks.

"Congratulations, my joy." Katsuki hugged her close. "Ochako please don't cry. This is a happy moment for fuck's sake."

"My baby is going to the best medical school in the whole of Japan and will become the best doctor to ever exist and you expect me not to cry?" Despite her words, Ochako wiped at her eyes and went to hug her daughter.

The girl was almost half a head taller than her mother now, but as Katsuki watched them hug and laugh together all he could see was his wife holding their seven year old daughter shortly after the doctor had told them that Etsuko would never manifest a quirk. His little girl had cried so much, but she soon realised that she can do good without a quirk too. She realised that she didn't need to be like her older brother in order to be helpful to humanity.

She had decided to become a doctor shortly after Daisuke entered the hero course at UA. There had been an unexpected battle against a villain and many of the youngsters had been injured. Etsuko had proclaimed that she will save everyone and would work hard everyday to help those who help others. Last year she had applied to the best medical school in the whole country with small expectations of actually getting in.

"There's no way they would accept someone as ordinary as me." She had said with a sad smile. "They only want the fucking best or whatever. People with quirks and extras like that."

But she got in. She did it.

Ktasuki smiled the broadest smile he had ever smiled and went to hug the two most important women in his life. The one that has promised to make him a better man everyday of his life and was keeping that promise to this day. And the one that he had raised and watched growing to become this strong, independent and amazing woman that she is now.

"Well done, my little hero. Well done."
