This book was amazing! I read it in one night and cried the last 15 chapters but that could just be me being sensitive, who knows. It was so beautiful well written I wanted to scream. It really shows Hollywood life in the 60s-80s and what it's like to have nothing and have to make something of yourself with nothing but your own wits. It gives such a good insight about how women lived in the late 1900s and what it was like to be LGBT+ and then it ripped your heart out and stomped on it. Overall such a good book 29846932/10

Characters:

Evelyn Hugo: The actual loml. Bisexual icon. Cuban American at heart full American by Hollywood. She left her family at a young age to become an actress and at 15 moved to Cali with her first husband. 2 husbands later shes made it big as the youngest Hollywood star, a year or so after she met Celia while filming Little Women.

Harry Cameron: Another amazing character. Gay icon. I love him. Met Evelyn during her first movie and they became the best of friends very fast. We don't really learn much about his childhood or life before E but he stuck with her through thick and thin

Celia: Queen. Shes the moment. She knows who she likes and what she wants and she gets it. Kinda the opposite of E but perfectly the opposite. She had a great childhood and quickly became a Hollywood fav.

Monique: Reporter. The start of the operation. Hand-picked by E to write her biography to the surprise of everyone, until you find out why E picked her to write her biography. Her father died at a young age but her mother is amazing- a little over protective but M her only child.

Those are all the important people- other than her 7 husbands which you'll have to find out when you read this brilliant book. Ok toodles!! I love all of yall

I'm out of my reading slump and just got 7 books for Christmas so be prepared. The next book is Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall
