Chapter 4

Adam's pov :
  It had been a day since I landed in Newyork .After Jack picked me up , we went to his home . Lucy greeted me with a welcoming hug . Lucy & Rick jack's parents had always treated me as their another son . They moved here to Newyork after jack got placed here. They wanted to be close to their only son . Rick had been working in our company in Seattle but then he retired when they decided to move to newyork .
" Adam son , how r you ? atlast you made it.. good to see you back ", rick also engulfed me in a manly hug and patted my back. ' Yeah, its about time , I am the best man , so I have to be here ' , I chuckled .

Dad, if I hadn't threatened him , I am sure this fool would have dumped me without his presence , 'jack said smirking .
" ok boys , breakfast is ready , come on all let's have " lucy called back from the kitchen. Adam , here goes your favourite toast with peanut butter and choclate dip pancakes , she chirped .
Thanks lucy , you still remember uhh...? , I smiled and started eating . She could one hell of a chef in a hotel . she is too good . After our eating , rick questioned about my parent's arrival . Yeah , both mine and jack's parents are good friends . Even my braty twin sisters will also be there in the wedding .

Then jack and I left in his car to see Ruby . It had been a long time after high school , I didn't meet her .

And one day Jack called me and passed on their news of engagement. I was happy for him , ruby was a great friend to everyone in school too.

So just after what seemed like having an endless conversation with jack , he parked the car in front of McD.

Yup , that's where we were meeting ruby . We were inside and had been waiting for 2 minutes . And suddenly jack waved someone on my back with a bright smile.

I guessed ruby had arrived , when I turned to greet her , I was stunned . There was a beautiful lady standing beside ruby with little bright eyes.

Without my knowledge my mouth muttered , ...WOW...!!
