I slowly emerge from the bathroom and make my way to the living room, Nathan is over talking to Tom and Siva, he looks over at me and gives me a weak smile, I return one to him before looking over towards Alice on the sofa next to a sleeping Jay,

'Looks like you won't be getting any action from Jay tonight' Alice jokes,

'I'm not that fussed anyways' I admit realising that Nathan is the only man I want any action with,

'The way you two were earlier I thought'

'Well don't think' I snap, cutting Alice off mid sentence,

'You ok?' Alice questions worriedly,

'I'm fine' I defend,

'If you say so' Alice backs down,

'I need some air' I bluntly state before getting up and walking out of the house to the garden, not in the mood for the questioning Alice was giving me.

I storm out of the house and lean against the wall around the garden and take a few deep breaths to try clear my head,

'Too much for you' I jump as I hear a voice behind me, I turn to see Lindsay leaning against the wall of the living room,

'Just a bit stuffy, needed air' I admit confused as to why Lindsay was talking to me,

'Yeah it is a but crowed isn't it'

'I guess'

'You and Nathan are friends aren't you?' Lindsay questions, confusing me even more,

'Yeah why?' I question back trying to find out what she was tryin to get at,

'Has he said anything to you?'

'About what?'

'The baby thing?'

'The baby thing? That's one way to put it'

'You know what I mean' Lindsay walks over beside me my gaze following her closely as she walks still all very confused by this, 'So has he said anything?'

'Nor really'

'What do you mean not really?' Lindsay questions me,

'He thinks it's all going a bit fast that's all' I admit scared of what I'm allowed to say,

'It is going a bit fast' Lindsay admits to herself,

'Tell me about it, I didn't realise you were about two months along already' I start to dig for information to clear up weather or not she was pregnant,

'Yeah I am'

'Not gonna be long till you start to show' I say looking at Lindsay to get as much as I can from her reaction although she doesn't give much away,

'We never really got along did we?' Lindsay changes the subject,

'Not really' I admit wondering why the topic changed so quickly,

'We should get to know each other better' Lindsay's words shock me but I realise I could find out more by being friends with her tester than enemies so I play along,

'Yeah for Nathan's sake' I agree,

'Yeah for Nathan' Lindsay agrees,

'You know I never even bothered to find out your second name Lindsay' I admit trying to sound as if I actually care,

'It's Ruddy' Lindsay fills me in,

'Ruddy, Ruddy I know that name' I search my mind but can't remember where I knew that name from,

'Im sure there's plenty of people called Ruddy' Lindsay reassures me,

'I guess'

'Anyways getting a bit chilly I'm gonna head in'

'Ok enjoy the party' I shout after Lindsay as she walks inside. Alice walks out just after Lindsay walks in and gives me a confused look,

'What?' I ask innocently,

'You and Lindsay were out here talking and you're both still living?' Alice asks sarcastically,

'I realised that I can catch more flies with honey than I can with vinegar' I say cheekily,

'You what?' Alice asks confused,

'Ugh, if I'm nice to Lindsay then I'll be able to find more out about this baby than if I'm mean and rude to her, I explain,

'Ohhh, nice plan sis'

'Thanks sis, by the way do we know any Ruddy's?' I question still trying to work out where I knew that name from,

'I don't know why?'

'Because that's Lindsay's second name and I swear I know that name from somewhere but I don't know where' I admit,

'Meh, it'll come to you when you're not thinking about it' Alice reassures me,

'I guess'

'Anyways come on let's get back to this party' Alice gives me a smile and I give her a weak one back as she pulls me back inside the party but at the back of my mind it's bugging me trying to work out where I knew the name Ruddy from...
