CHILLING
MIDAS'S POV:
It was finally morning and I was up making breakfast, "Morning dad" I heard my daughter Jules say as I turned to see her rubbing her eyes and letting out a little yawn. "Morning" I replied.
"Why where you up so late last night anyways dad?" Asked Jules I looked at her confused "what?" I asked "I could hear you you step on all the loud creeks" she replied simply.
"Oh sorry I didn't mean to wake you I just couldn't sleep" I replied "you had the dream again didn't you?" She asked slightly glaring at me. "Yes" I sighed as she grabbed her cup of coffee off the kitchen counter. "You said you stopped having that dream!" She yelled I could tell my daughter was worried I just sighed. "Jules Jules Jules I never stopped having the dream! I lied so you wouldn't have to worry anymore so I wouldn't be as much as a burden then I already was!" I said in my defence.
Her glare softened "you where never a burden dad" said Jules taking a sip of her coffee "also you do know that tea is much better then that crap I'm sure chaos agent would back me up" I said with a tone of sass.
"Says the 10 year old who somehow adopted a 5 year old!" Said Jules "well that was 5 years ago and you wouldn't leave me alone ok?" Asked Midas. "Yeah yeah I remember it two" said Jules with a chuckle.
"Also who's the other person upstairs?" Asked Jules Welp how do I respond to this "they also fell out of the sky and now there here because it was like at midnight" I answered simply.
"Man if we had nickels for every time people showed up at our house by falling from the sky we'd have two nickels that isn't a lot sure but it's weird that it happened twice" said Jules "Yeah I suppose so" I replied.
Kaven finally came downstairs "Morning sleeping beauty" I said they chuckled "Morning" said Kaven "Here's some eggs on toast" I said handing her a plate then moving on to give Jules a plate.
"Are you gonna eat?" Kaven asked "He never eats at the same time as me so I doubt he'd eat now that there's two of us" said Jules I chuckled "She's right besides I have work to attend to anyways stay as long as you need" I said walking up stairs towards my office.
"I'll be in my office if you need me Jules be nice to our guest!" I shouted half way up the stairs towards my office.
