You stood up and quickly bowed in respect. He was your 'father', most important, the head of a dragon faction
"y/n, who is this" Your father asked
"He's..." You trailed off, eyeing Venti with an unknown emotion plastered in your face
He seemed to understand as he smiled softly
"My name is Venti" He stood up as well. Both hands on his hips and looking up to your father without any fear
"So you are the one" Venti's smile disappeared, instead a serious tone left the bards lips. Venti knew someone was around this place, but he didn't know who
"Don't you dare speak without my permission, human" Your father's dragon form loomed over you and Venti, casting a huge shadow
You gulped, one wrong sentence and you both were done for. Still bowing you tried to make eye contact with Venti, but he didn't look back at you
"You are the one that should respect me, after all, you are in my lands" Venti spoke
"So you are the god of this nation... Barbartos was it?"
"Correct, now with that already clear... I would leave if I were you"
"You wouldn't resist a minute if I brought my whole dragon Army" Your father laughed at him, yet Venti didn't seem bothered by it
"Why don't you bring them here, don't cry after-" you cut Venti mid sentence
"Father why are you here" you finally spoke, getting your fathers attention and stopping what could possibly have become a future war between gods and dragons
"Are you here to take me home..." You said with sadness
Venti only stared at you, the last thing he expected you to be was a dragon, and the daughter of such a tyrant
"You have disappointed me"
You bit your lip, and decided to look up finally, seeing how your father was looking at you with disappointment
"Everyone has been looking for you" your father spoke
"So I decided to open a portal binding both worlds, you can come home whenever you want, but in exchange, the portal will close, and you won't be able to return"
You frowned but didn't say anything
Your father sighed before opening his wings and flying into the portal. He stopped for a brief moment
"Be careful"
And then he left
You fell to your knees, you could finally go home... But at what cost, leaving everything here
