You sat on the couch, next to your small lamp, it's been 3 days since you last went outside your house, after that... Event, you couldn't see his face
You continued reading a book Lisa happily gifted to you, initially it was just a borrowed book but she wanted to make you feel better, after all she knew something was wrong, the moment you stepped inside her library to retrieve something she noticed how tired you looked
Higokumaru sighed, she didn't know how to make you feel better, she knew how much he meant to you, so she told you to stay home for some days

A box you had placed on the table started moving. Carefully you set down the book you were reading and walked towards the box
You were startled when the small ferret jumped from the box towards your face, it's tiny soft paws collided with your skin, it didn't hurt but it tickled
"Alright ft/n, that's enough you should be sleeping instead of moving around too much" you booped his nose
After Barbara told you that the ferret was alright, you discovered it was a male, so you decided to name it ft/n, it suited him a lot in your opinion
You went to the kitchen in search for some food, but there was none, meaning you had to go outside to fetch some yourself
"Stay here, I will go get food for us" you told Higokumaru
Putting on the long hooded f/c coat, which covered almost your whole body and half your face not wanting anyone to recognize you, there have been rumours around Mondstadt about 'why you didn't go outside' it made you uncomfortable, but what can you do? Just ignore it and continue with your life... Yeah
Higokumaru stopped what she was doing and turned around to face you
"Are you going to be alright?" She asked with a hint of nervousness noticeable, as her voice cracked a little when she spoke
"Of course... Besides you need to take care of ft/n, remember?" You smiled
Higokumaru hesitated a little before nodding
"Be safe"
"I will"
With that, you closed the door and stepped outside, the wind was strong, it was weird, as if it was alive. Two... No... Three times! the wind seemed to try and take off the f/c fabric that covered your face, you huffed and held the coat tighter in response
