"Louis! Niall is here, says you two are going out!" Johanna yelled from the kitchen.

Louis groaned as he did not expect the Irish lad to actually come and drag him to the bar, especially on a Saturday... when he has to work at 5:30 in the morning. He turned off his computer that was littered with rentals opening in London. It does not look promising each day as fewer are added and even less within his price range. Louis heard Niall coming up the stairs, and as he opened the door, he said, "Come on! Get your shoes on, and let's go! We are already running late!" Louis had no clue what they were running late for since it was just the two of them.

The 10-minute drive to the bar, Down Under, was filled with Niall raving about his short trip to Ireland to visit his brother and sister-in-law. Niall's nephew Theo had been born a few months before, and Niall was on holiday from Uni. So Niall and his brother Greg had a few days to catch up on family obligations. Louis' was not surprised that Niall did not explain much. Family is a complicated topic for the brunette Irishman, which Louis understands. So they ended up sitting in comfortable silence for the last few minutes of the drive.

When they arrived at the bar, Niall went straight to the bartender and ordered the two a round of drinks. Meanwhile, Louis went to their regular table tucked in the corner of the bar, opposite the makeshift stage. The nights the bar has live bands are Louis's favorite. He watches as he wishes to be up on the stage singing one day. Maybe not the wobbly stage but a giant set decorated just for him. He shakes off the idea of him becoming that popular in any lifetime.

"Oi, Lou! Got you a pint!" Niall says, placing the glass in front of Louis.

"Thanks, mate. You ready for the year to start," Louis asked, referring to the classes at the local university. They are both psychology majors in their last year. Once they were done, the plan was to find a flat in London that the two would share as they went into "adulthood."

"No, they haven't fixed my schedule yet. The professor keeps saying he doesn't have room for me, which I know is bullshit because the roster still says there are two spots available." Niall sighed, taking a sip of his pint. The professor has been a right arse to Niall all holiday. The lad was just trying to get the last class for his degree. "I'm going to email my advisor and see if they can do something about it! Classes start in two weeks, and I need this to graduate!"

Louis knows how dedicated Niall is to finishing his degree. His parents had little faith in him, which is why he moved to the local university away from their negativity. "You will get into the class, N. You should have just signed up for the one I'm in. There are plenty of spots open." Louis says, finishing off his drink.

"You know I can't do that night class. My work had me scheduled every fucking night." Niall sighs, grabbing the two glasses for another round of drinks. "I tried to get them to give me the one night off, and they laughed in my face."

The pair kept discussing the plan to move to London and finish their classes. After that, Louis would have to start the job hunt, unsure what he would want to do once he was out of Uni. Niall had a job already lined up at a family therapy clinic, so he was set. Louis was a little jealous of Niall's success in his field but very happy for his mate. A few more rounds of drinks left the table, and Niall was on the wobbly stage singing Teenage Dirtbag, his Irish accent thick. Usually, when he sings, you can not tell that he is Irish - it's that good. There was a time that the two joked that they would go on the X Factor and make it big, but they never had the time to go to the audition.

"C'mon Louis! Get up here and sing!" Niall all but screams in the somewhat crowded bar. He cackles from where he stands, waving at the feather-haired boy to get on stage. Louis laughs from his seat, shaking his head at how ridiculous Niall looks at this moment.
