Mirabel caught the plates casita threw her way and started to set the table when three kids came up to the window and started to pester her with questions. They had ran to the casita with excitement. It was Antonío's gift ceremony and everyone was bursting with excitement, wondering what the youngest Madrigal's gift would be.
"Hey, where's my gift at?" The boy asked, raising his cup of coffee. "My cousins ceremony is tonight." Mirabel answered, placing the plates in front of each chair. "What's his gift?" The girl asked, leaning on the rock. "We're gonna find out."
"What's your gift?" The boy once again asked as he rubbed his nose. "Who's asking?" Mirabel eyed the kids with a playful glare. "Us!" The kids simultaneously answered. "Well us." Mirabel mocked. "I can't just talk about myself. I'm only part of the amazing Madrigal's." Mirabel pointed to the picture behind her that had every Madrigal on it.
"Who's the amazing Madrigal's." The kids continued to question. "Ah, you're not going to leave me alone are you?" Mirabel put her hand on her hip as she looked at the three. "Casita, help me out."
