Hajime's pov
It's my first day at Hopes Peak Academy.. I'm kinda scared but I'm glad that I'm going. I want to get away from my abusive father.. he blames me for all his problems. All of them. God, sometimes I wish I was dead. No.. I wish I WAS dead. I should get going though, while my dad is still asleep.
I slowly open and closed my door making sure to not make any sound. I walk down the hallway to the flight of stairs as I tip toed down the stairs I could hear snores on the couch. As I made it down the stairs I could see my dad with a bottle of alcohol in his hand, he was passed out.
I took this advantage and ran out the house, I'm pretty sure I made some noise going out cause I could hear my dad waking up. I hurried and ran to the other side of the street so he couldn't get me. I sighed.. Maybe I souls just give up on life already. It's clearly not for me so why try..?
When he makes it to Hopes Peak gates
I finally made it to Hopes Peak.. the school is bigger than I imagined. Now all I have to do is find the front office. I started walking to the main building to find the front office, and I accidentally bumped into a small girl with brown hair and pink eyes.
"I am so sorry!" I apologized.
"No, it's fine. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going!" The small girl replied.
"My name is Chiaki, Chiaki Nanami! The ultimate gamer. You?" Chiaki said.
"Hajime.. H-Hajime Hinata.. a reserve course student.." I stuttered.
"Well it's nice to meet you Hinata-Chan!"
N-Nice to meet you to Nanami-San! Do you.. by any chance know where the front office is?"
"Oh! Yea, follow me!" She said as she led me to the main building. It was nice having a friend on your first day of school.. unlike my other one..
"Here we are! I'll be waiting outside the office, ok!" Chiaki smiled at me.
"Yea! Ok." I smiled back.
I turned around and looked at the double doors in front of me and I go in. At the front desk I saw a tall lady really fixated at her computer as she typed fast. I noticed she was the only one there so I had to go to her.. as I walked up she looked at me and smiled.
"Hello there! How may I help you?" The office lady questioned.
"H-Hi.. My name is Hajime Hinata and I'm new here.. so I would like to know where my classes are.."
"Ok.. Hajime Hinata you said?"
"Yes Ma'am"
She typed on her computer and got up from her chair. She want to a back room and came out with a pin and a ID card.
"So these are your things that you need. The Pin is to represent that you are a reserve course student and the ID card is to get into places so the system knows that your a student here."
"Ah, thank you miss!" I turn around starting to walk away.
"Wait!" The office lady said.
"Yea?" I say confused.
"Since your new here you'll have to go home for today since classes are in session, but if you can't go home now or if you don't wanna go home now you can explore the school if you'd like!"
"Ah! Ok, thank you again miss!" I waved goodbye.
"Goodbye!"
I walk away from the lady and the front desk and I see the double doors again. I walk out and I see Chiaki talking to the tall male with white fluffy hair. It looked so fluffy that I wanted to touch and pet it. Both Chiaki and the male looked at me when I walked out.
"Oh hey Hinata-Chan!" Chiaki smiled at me.
"Hi.." I shyly said
"Hey Nanami-San.. whose this?" The white haired male asked.
"Oh! Right! I forgot to introduce you guys! This is Hajime Hinata., and Hinata-Chan this is Nagito Komaeda!"
"Nice to meet you Hinata-Chan~" Nagito said as he looked at me.
"N-Nice to meet you too, Komaeda-Kun..!" I slightly smiled at him.
"Oh! Guys I have to go! I'll be right back though so stay there!" Chiaki said as she jogged to another hallway.. so it was only me and Nagito.
"S-So.. Komaeda-Kun, what's y-your ultimate..?" I said looking up at the taller male
"I'm the ultimate lucky student. I got in here by pure luck. What about you?"
"Oh..m-me? I'm just a reserve course student..." I say slightly looking down.
"Oh.. what a shame.. I was really starting to like you but now I have no interest in a lowly reserve course student.." He said and he walked to me and held my chin up making me look directly into his eyes.
"Like you..." he let go of my chin.
Ouch...well that hurt..
"But I will accept you on one condition"
"W-What is it..?"
"Don't talk to anybody else but me and Nanami or you and they will regret it, ok~?"
"B-But.. I wanna make more friends! So no... I'm sorry!"
I felt his hand grip my hand very hard. It really hurts, it's like he can break it anytime he wanted..
"This isn't up for a negotiation. Want me to show you what would happen if you broke the rule~"
"No.. thank you.. but I thought y-you didn't have any interest in me..?"
"You're right but there's something in your eyes that tell me that your submissive and will obey anyone if you were pushed enough. I'll push it if needed. So don't do anything stupid if you don't want it to happen. Ok?"
"Ok..."
He let go of the grip on my hand and I quickly pulled it towards me slowly rubbing it so the pain can go away.
"Tell Nanami-San that I had to do something when she comes back, ok?"
"O-Ok.."
Nagito walked out the the building without looking at me once. What did I get myself into.. when I said that Chiaki came back.
"Where's Komaeda-Chan?"
"O-Oh! He said he had to do something.. but I'm gonna head home now! Bye bye.." I waved to her.
"Bye!" She waved back and started walking in the same hallway she left in.
