But your smile soon dropped as you realized the aftermath. The defeat caused the train to shake violently and rapidly as it screamed, the flesh frantically forming into hands, attempting to grab the passengers but was stopped by Kyojuro cutting them into pieces. Nezuko held the little girl close while Zenitsu didn't move a bit.

The flesh around the train exploded with blood splashing over before it rolled over and crashed hard to the ground.

"Because of its scream, and tremors, the train's turning over! Are you okay, guys?!"

"I'm fine!"

"I'm totally fine!"

"Good to hear! (Y/N), Inosuke, protect the passen—" Suddenly, the train shook, bouncing everyone off.

You and Tanjiro crashed into each other before you both rolled over on the ground until it stopped. You groaned because of the impact before raising your face and found yourself on top of Tanjiro's body. Your face flushed at the moment Tanjiro's eyes opened and met with yours, you quickly got away from his body as your cheeks had a small tint of red on them. Tanjiro's face was full of scarlet as he looked elsewhere.

"ARE YOU OKAY, SANTARO, (MISPRONOUNCED NAME)?!" You turned your head to Inosuke as he sprinted towards you both. He grabbed your shoulders and shook you back and forth. "Is your belly okay? Your belly that got stabbed!"

"I'm already healed. That's nothing to be worried about." You replied with a dizzy head because of Inosuke before you came to Tanjiro's left side. Inosuke had his hand under Tanjiro's head, raising to you both.

"I'm... alright." Tanjiro mumbled out of tiredness after the whole battle. "What about you?"

"Never felt better! I didn't even catch a cold!"

"I won't be able to move for a while. Help the others, will you? Was anyone injured? What about the engineer near the head?"

Inosuke went black briefly before he responded loudly. "IT'S OKAY IF THAT BASTARD DIES!"

"It's not okay."

"No! It isn't!" You shouted with frowns and Inosuke faced you, yelling back.

"WHY NOT?! He's the one who stabbed you in the belly, remember?! He's got his leg stuck and can't move! His leg's shattered, and he can't walk anymore! Just leave him there, and he'll die!"

"Then, he's already atoned for his sin. Help him, will you? Please?"

Inosuke grunted in anger as he placed Tanjiro down gently before huffing loudly. "I'll go for you, then! Because I'm the boss! Because my minion asked me to! After I rescue him, I'm going to pluck out all of that guy's hair!"

"That's really not necessary."

"There's also someone else who needs your help! Go help them too, okay?!" You cupped your mouth as you shouted to him.

"Don't boss me around, Underling 4?! Watch over him!"

"Okay...?" You mumbled, replying to him before you turned your head back to check up on Tanjiro who was still staring at the sky. The sun was about to come out from the horizon.

"(Y/N). You should go with Inosuke. There's a lot of people who need saving."

"If I go, Inosuke will scold me for leaving you alone." You rolled your eyes over as you crossed your arms. "So... I stay with you."

Tanjiro sighed lightly before he closed his eyes, relaxing himself and controlling his breathing to reduce exhaustion. "It's almost dawn. Get your breathing under control. We have to... save the injured... before it's too late. Nezuko... Zenitsu... Rengoku-san... I'm sure they're all safe! You have to believe!"
