I am tapped awake and see a light around the face of a guy I haven't met yet.

He kind of looks like the weird Lorenzo, but ... purer? I dunno. He doesn't seem as weird. But that could be because of his eyes. They are as brown as the earth. At least, the brown I imagine the earth to be. And his hair. It is shiny.

"Cody, nice to meet you."

He knows my name.

I am unsure to whether I should be worried he knows my name, or flattered.

Flattered seems to be more positive and heaps of people tell me it is good to be positive, so let's go with that.

I smile, "Hi. Thanks ..." I don't know his name.

I look at his hairstyle. Light brown and short.

"Kyle?" That seems to fit him.

He blinks a couple of times.

"Sure," he smiles.

I guess that means I'm right? Alright! Mental fist pump.

I look around and see the others still on the floor.

"Why are they still down?" I ask.

"I tried to wake them up, but you are the only one who awoke." Kyle looked solemn. Kind of holy even.

Is there an appropriate time to look holy? I mean, there is a dragon above us...

I take a quick glance, then look back to Uncle.

"How could he faint? Isn't that impossible?" I am unable to comprehend why I am awake and Uncle is not.

"Well, for starters, you all fell from the roof," Kyle points out.

It's not open anymore.

"It closed again?" I look at him unconvincingly, but he just shrugs.

"And in the roof is a field that purposefully knocks people out."

"Oh." I knew Uncle couldn't fall that easily. I nod knowingly.

Kyle looked at me and nearly sighed. I'm pretty sure he wasn't looking at me as if I was slightly pathetic. No, nothing of the sort. Anyways, he continued,

"As you were the lightest of the bunch, you were the least affected. Also, being wrapped in your uncle's arms helped you not get a concussion or any other such injuries from the few meters drop."

As I realise I'm still in Uncles arms, I snuggle in a little bit more for appreciation. Uncle really is the best. Kyle rolls his eyes and starts to lift up Uncles arms off of me.

"What?"

"Give him space and I can heal his back wound from the fall."

I wriggle-jump out immediately. Uncle cannot be hurt – even if he was being the most amazing man in the universe. Kyle lets me leave before putting his hands on Uncle's chest and then a bright light leaves his hands and fills up Uncle.

Soon the light leaves and Uncle relaxes. Soft snores can be heard. Kyle reaches to lift an eyelid open, but all I see is a bit of purple. That's not supposed to be there. I'm pretty sure I've never seen Uncle's eyes as purple. Don't tell me he's an undercover superhero –

Kyle instantly looks at me with a little bit of near derision in his eyes, cutting my thoughts off before they could wander across Uncle's hidden amazingness,

"Why would a superhero live in the middle of Australia with almost literally nothing?"

I shrug but he doesn't stop,
