Brierson- this Is Love

chapter 9- recovery

It's been two weeks since Pierson has been released from the hospital she hasn't been able to go back to work because she wasn't fully recovered from the experience Brent and the Lexi's have been staying with her at different times so that she doesn't get lonely. It's Brent's turn today

Brent: okay Pierson I have taco Bell and Starbucks here you go

Pierson- thanks but I have been eating fast food for two weeks now I think its time I get back in the kitchen

Brent: are you sure?? I can call Lexi to cook for you

Pierson: I'm sure (she gets up from the bed)

Brent follows her to the kitchen

Brent: okay so what do you want to eat?

Pierson: I'm making pasta (she gets a pot)

Brent: okay I'm here to help

Brent helps her with some stuff and 30 minutes later they are eating at the counter

Brent: wow this Is delicious

Pierson: thanks( she replys coldly and continues eating)

Brent: what's wrong he tries to touch her shoulder

Pierson: (flinches)

Brent: oh

Pierson: I'm sorry I don't really like guys touching me after the whole.....

Brent: oh no that's fine I just wanted to make sure you're alright

Pierson: thanks (she gets up) just leave your plate in the sink I'll wsh it when you leave (she washes hers)

Brent:(laughs) my mum didn't train me to leave plates in the sink don't worry about it

Pierson: are you sure? Because you've done enough for me already

Brent: and I'll do more in any way I can

Pierson: awwn that's so sweet I want to watch something she cleans her hands and goes to the living room

Brent: what about Netflix

Pierson: obviously but what

They debate on what to watch for 5 minutes and finally settle on a new series that just came out the previous day.

They end up sleeping after an hour and 2 episodes

3 hours later brent wakes up e checkes the time and sees it already 3pm he has to go to his new job so see if he was accepted he hurriedly got up and woke Pierson up in the process he was looking for he's wallet

Pierson: why the hurry?

Brent: oh hi Pierson sorry but I have to leave right now i have to go to the company to see if I got accepted and I'll be late if I don't leave right now

Pierson: omg what are you looking for

Brent:my wallet

Pierson: wait I know where it is she gets up and runs to her bedroom. Here u go you left it there when you came now go!!

Brent: thanks bye I'll call you or maybe stop by

Pierson: no problem

Brent arrives at the place

Brent: I am so sorry am I late?

Mr calsey: ah! Mr Rivera right in time

Brent: phew can I sit down

Mc: yes please do. So Mr Rivera I think you know why you are here

Brent: yes sir

Mc: you see this company is known for its wonderful service and that is why we take the best of the best
