When Wanda was only eight she have grown a liking to one girl in particular. This girl has a timid smile, shy demeanor and has bright eyes.
Aside from that, this girl is intelligent. She would always get praised by their teacher and Wanda couldn't admire her more.
It stayed like that though until she no longer saw the girl when the new school year came along.
They had one conversation and it consists of Wanda apologizing for calling her a dodo head out of frustrations. She didn't mean to say it but because of her anger she did. She can't even remember what the girl did but she knows it was not the girl's fault.
Wanda stares at her phone as she watches the bubbles on your text box appear and disappear a few times. It's been like that for about 10 minutes, she could have gone home by how impatient she is but she's determined to seek your forgiveness.
"Hello young lady." A voice startled Wanda, almost dropping her phone on the floor. She looked behind her to see a woman that has looks a bit like you. It must be your mother, she thought.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." Your mother apologize, walking closer to Wanda and the door while holding the grocery bags in each hand.
"It's okay Mrs. Y/L/N. Here, let me help you." Wanda offered politely before taking one of the bags and placing it in her arms.
"Thank you. Are you looking for Y/N?"
"Yes, I am."
Your mother had let Wanda in, even offered her a beverage before walking upstairs to your room.
"Wanda is downstairs." Your mother said, leaning on the frame of your door. You didn't even hear her knock or open the door, you were too out of focus.
Your mother watch as you stare at your ceiling. A behavior she knows all too well. It only means one thing, you are upset.
"I know."
"Why don't you come down, honey. Wanda looks upset as you are. I will be in the kitchen to give you guys some privacy."
You didn't bother to reply and look but as you heard your mother's footsteps fade away, you know she's going down and do the things she said.
That's what you love about your mom, she's so understanding and calm. She never pushes you to tell her things. Unlike your father but that's a different story.
Unwillingly but you know you have to, you drag your feet downstairs. You immediately saw Wanda skimming your family pictures that are punctured on the wall.
"Hey." You mumbled under your breath. Wanda immediately turn around hearing your voice.
"Hey." She replied, her eyes skimming the room clearly avoiding your eyes.
You let out a big sigh, you clearly have no time for this. She have hurt your feelings time and time again, and you are not going to be the one making conversation. "If you're not going to say anything, you know where the door is."
"No wait." Wanda almost yelled, stopping you dead in your tracks. "I came here to apologize."
You remained silent, waiting for her to elaborate her apology. Wanda sense your energy, or lack of thereof.
"I was out of line... As I always am with you and I'm sorry."
"Are you though? Or did Natasha begged you to apologize to me?" You said bitterly, crossing your arms on your chest.
This triggers something on Wanda. Here she is with her ego and pride on the ground, apologizing to you and yet, you accused her of something like this.
