Trusting isn't an easy concept for you, it never really was. People have questioned as to why you are the way you are but to be frankly you're more concern at how they can trust people so easily.

Trusting is a weakness. Once you trust someone you give them the power to betray you. And we all see how betrayal comes, its ALWAYS from the people you trust.

So you aren't about to risk it.

Maybe this is why you haven't been in a relationship because you hinder it before it happens. Yelena certainly thought so.

"Are you alright?" Natasha shook your arm to get you out of your bubble.

"Yeah. Just getting ready for the exam." You try to focus again, this time on the paper you were reading.

"Oh come on guys." Natasha shush everyone when they started teasing her. For context, she finally made Maria her girlfriend last night and everyone is just finding out.

"That explains all the tapping on the wall!" Steve put two and two together, "Thought y'all were playing wrestling with all that deep breathing."

For the first time since you've known Natasha, you saw her blush like a tomato.

"I can't believe Natasha got a girlfriend before me." Bucky jokingly complained which gain him few laughs from the circle. He looked at you for a quick second with a goofy grin on his face. You didn't catch that but Wanda sure did.

And she doesn't know how to feel about it.

"What's taking so long then Barnes?" Pietro asked in a playful tone with Natasha adding, "Barnes got no game that's why."

"Maybe he's a poor kisser." Tony suggested.

Everyone is so invested with the building banter over the football player. "That I can attest to." Wanda dishes out of annoyance which got everyone to lose their mind completely.

You're not gonna lie you felt bad. Bucky's smile slowly fades into a fake one. There isn't any reason why Wanda should embarrass him like that specially because he often speaks highly of her.

"I disagree." You said absentmindedly.

The background noise slowly disappear and all the eyes were suddenly focused on you. One harden stare differ from the rest. "Care to explain?" Wanda confusedly asks, with one eyebrow up.

Her lipstick is a bit mess up considering that half of it are now marked on the empty wine glass she's been drinking on. Her face is turning a bit red, you're taking it at she had a few too many glass of wine already.

"Uhm." You try to look for words to say but by the way Wanda is eyeing you, it makes it hard to do so.

She gets you nervous.

"Are you saying you've kissed Bucky?" Wanda proceed to interrogate you. Bucky was about to speak but the red head shut him up. "I'm talking to Y/N."

"I'm not saying that."

"What were you saying then?" Steve curiously asked with such a piercing look at you which only added to the nerve.

"Leave Y/N alone guys." Carol stood up in your defense, you gave her an awkward smile.

"I'm just. Bucky sold out on the kissing booth. I figured he's a good kisser." You reason out. They were skeptical on your answer but they didn't pressure you to say more.
