One Glance

"Another home run in, as player one hits the ball!"

 Everyone cheered as my best friend ran to the home plate. Right next to me were Ino, Sakura, Tenten, and Temari talking and cheering for our friends. I looked over at Sakura and noticed her blush at Sasuke slipping onto the home plate. I giggled at the sight of the both of them knowing the situation between them.

"Sakura wanna go get some more popcorn?" said Ino standing up "Sakura? hey Sakura-"

"Forget it Ino, once Sakura has her eye on Sasuke you cant get her back to thought." Tenten said looking at the baseball field.

She was right, Sakura Haruno has always loved Sasuke Uchiha. Ever since we were in diapers, Sakura has always memorized Sasuke. The game was coming to a close and all students of Konoha High knew we had already won.

The last pitch was going to be served and Kiba was up. He stood firm on the home plate and got into his stance. The crowd cheered as the pitcher threw the ball, Kiba hit the ball towards the out field and ran. The girls and i stood up and yelled our cheers for him to hear. He was never as fast as he was today, he had practiced every day of the week and it showed.

"Didn't know he can run this fast." Temari said loud enough for only me and my friends to hear.

"He practiced everyday of the week Temari, Hinata would know." Ino said looking at me with a smirk.

I didn't notice, i was to focused on my fast boyfriend. Kiba and i have been dating for two months already. We thank Shino and Mrs.Kurenai for that, because we would have never known about each others feelings if it wasn't for them. i love Kiba but lately I've been second guessing our relationship. It hasn't been the same since he started getting serious about baseball. Ever since the team found out about different sport scholarships, that's all he has been thinking about. I know it sounds selfish of me but i cant help but be selfish when it comes to love.

"Hey guys look!" Tenten pointed towards the entrance of the field.

"Woah, i would date him. he's cute" Temari and the others were looking over at where Tenten was pointing. I wasn't.

Since Ino was next to me, she noticed i wasn't looking. She was a bit annoyed by that. She grabbed my arms and turned me around away from the sight of my boyfriend. My face was facing the entrance but my eyes were looking at Inos .

"Hey Ino w-what was that f-for-"

"Just look."

I decided to look. I took one glance and noticed Iruka Sensei, i turned my head a bit to the right. My eyes were struck with a sight un like no other. My heart was beating fast and i was a blushing hot mess. I was speechless, i heard cheers next to me but didn't want to look over. I just wanted to keep this one glance. I was focusing on the boy with messy blonde hair and blue crystal eyes. I didn't know his name but somehow i knew. I would know it for the rest of my life.
