the blonde, with grey hued talons, and dark claws, and two, large, shiny obsidian toned wings, was known to be a great mercenary. He knew where to for a quick death, he knew where it would pain the other the utter most to bare. He knew the weaknesses of different species, humans, elves, halflings, seafolk, and the many others that this land had to offer. Although people knew who he was, they never actually knew his name, or what he looked like. Some said he was a massive beast, who takes the children in trade for keeping the village safe(a lie, Phil wouldn't kill a child. and most villages were never defenceless), or that he had great, big claws and teeth, and would eat those he would kill(another lie, bodies were always found. just with no tie to the mercenary). They often upped his size, or made up new tales of him entirely. Then again, tales always change over the long periods of time that he has seen.

He would be making his way through a busy part of the city he was staying at, at least for the moment. he never stayed in one place too long, gold would dwindle to numbers he didn't want to have to make due with. He heard a faint twinkle of music, a guitar and a small drum. He walked towards the direction it was coming from, and a small crowd of people were listening, some children were dancing to the music, a human, and two what looked like some kind of halflings. The boy playing the guitar was brown haired, wearing a yellow tunic, a brown cloak over it, and grey pants. He had a large hat on, so he must have been something that wasn't mix with the sunlight. He would be somewhat dancing along to the beat, and Philza got a glance at the two, grey and navy wings that he had hidden behind a slit in the back of his cloak. A Phantomling? they weren't rare, but were not a common sight to see in large cities. Most lived with their own kind, and never in large, mixed crowds. He never knew why, the species was just like that since he first time he met one, long ago. the other child, who was a blonde, wearing a red tunic, and black pants. He had ear-feathers, mostly red, with hints of white, and two small wings on his back, red with splotches of white. A simple Avian, they were more common than most, ranging largely in colours, but never the dark hues of the Elytrains. They were moderately mostly just with themselves, and others of the same breed. But they have become more often to find, whether the children be as 'pets' to high, noble families, or they were crafters, artisans, or even just simple bakers, they now were a broad and vast race spread around. he would have shook his head, getting the smile from his moment to shine inside his head off his face, and continued on his way.
He looked out for the building he was looking for, a relatively small shop, with a sign that worked with clockwork to make it turn. people never really knew how to quite call to him, but sometimes if you whispered to the wind, "Crow Father, lend me your wares", the dark figure would appear after some time, wearing a disguise. It would vary, sometimes he'd just have a simple crow mask, and a black cloak to cover his other features. other times it would be more detailed, with him finding a way to completely make his wings disappear, or to dye them(or have a colour the tops of them) and don an accent, making it harder to tell who he actually was. He would be looking around, and nearly quite, although he needed the coin, but saw the shop, and it's clockwork sign that was above the door. He glanced around, and made his way over there, like he was curious to what it held inside.
He was meant with a chime as the door opened inwards, his eyes darting around the room to take it all in. There were gears, of different materials, sizes, and shapes. The walls were lined with glass cases, where behind, there were artificial limbs(that worked! a small sign read next to them), and other gadgets. The shop had shulker boxes, as package deals, and another wall had high quality crafts, such as goggles, boots, drones, and weaponry. The owner, Phil decided, was a jack-of-all-trades type person, if it had to deal with something mechanical or redstone. The buzzing of wings brought him back to his senses, as he turned to the desk, placed on the back wall, leading out to a workshop, he assumed, stood a small, slightly larger than child size hybrid, and the way he was flying, and the two stalks of fuzz protruding from his forehead, he must have been a Bumblebee. He had messy brown hair, a green tunic and blue pants on, sluts for his wings in the back, and goggles on his head, like he was done using them but didn't want to have them be too far.
"What can I getcha, my tall fellow?" the Bumblebee would say, a smile plastered on his face. The Elytrian heard noise still coming from the shop, and Phil tilted his head to the side, looking at the small boy, and raised a brow, wondering who else was in here, if this is where his call came from.
"Oh! that's just my friend, we're business partners, although they're much taller than me. Names Tubbo_, and my friend in the shop is Ranboo. You?" the Bumblebee, tubbo, would say.
the cloak was covering his wings, and his green and white hat, along with his blonde hair, his his ear-feathers, so he looked more Avian then Elytrian. He donned an accent, somewhat similar to the majority of Avians, and spoke to his caller.
"Uh, Hello mate, it's nice to meet you too, cozy little store, seems like you two are good at what you craft. Names are not that important, but you called?" The 'Crow Father' would say, and realisation hit the other face.
"OH!" he exclaimed, nodding. "Yep, yep. I did call. So, your a good hunter right? cause there's a ruler who neither of us like, and we'd pay you as much gold as we can if you'd get him off our backs."
Tubbo_ would say, and reach into one of his many pockets he had, and gave the mercenary a sheet of paper, worn at the edges and folded, but otherwise in good condition. He unfolded it, and would scan the sketch, with some coloring done to it. The pinkette, with the broad shoulders, a crown apon his head, a pink hue to his skin that was more then most humans had, and the way that Phil can tell he wasn't a human, was the two, broad tusks curving out of his mouth, and the pig-like ears he had atop the crown of his head. He had the basic royal getup, with a red and white fur trimmed cape, a white blouse, with large sleeves, and black pants, a tail with a tip of fur behind him.
"How long do you have for me to do the job?" Phil said, looking at the Bumblebee, raising a brow. he knew where this Pinglin was, having passed by his kingdom, and even helping one of his citizens with help with a low-ranked knight. He felt indifference towards all, not getting attached to the ones he killed or the ones that hire him.
