Peggy's POV:

being the first one to wake up is always the best.

"WAKE UP LOSERS! WE'RE GETTING JOHN BACK!" I ripped a blanket off Herc and Laf while blowing an air horn.

"What the hell Peggy!" Herc threw a pillow my way, missing me completely.

"va au diable" (go to hell) Laf grumbled while rolling off the couch.

"NO THANKS! MARIA GET UP!" I blew the horn in her ear.

"Peggy, nooooo."

I was about to blow it on Angelica but she grabbed it and gave me the death stare.

Eliza's peaceful sleep was interrupted by a loud air horn.

soon everyone was groaning and waking up. What wonders a air horn can do!

I barged into Alex's room, ready to blow my horn but he was already awake. I don't think he even slept!

"Margarita Schylur, get the hell outta here."

I rolled my eyes and jumped on his bed. "nope! we're gonna save John now so get your ass in gear!"

Alex rolled his eyes and strutted out of the room. once gone, I went through his room collecting all sharp things. especially the razor.

I smiled to myself. No cutting anymore Hamilton.

Maria's POV:

I had no idea where the hell Reynolds and Francis could've gone but I had some guesses. At the moment, we were all huddled in the living room, listening to Peggy's plans.

"Francis and Reynolds most likely took John further away from campus. My guess is that they took him down to the campsite near the lake. That or into the next town. We'll start with the town and make our way to the camp. If/when we find John, I want you," she pointed to Eliza, Angelica and I. "take him to safety. Laf, Herc, Alex and I will take good care of Reynolds and Francis."

I could practically see the skulls in her eyes. Why do I have such a dangerous girlfriend?

We all nodded in agreement.

Peggy smiled in satisfaction. "lets get John back!"

-----------------------

Laf pulled up in a rusty minivan, grinning like he won  a Tony. "Get in losers, we're getting John back!"

I glanced nervously at the thing passing for transportation. It was dark blue, rusty literally everywhere, had squeaky tires and a loud, sputtering engine.

"Laf, are you sure about this car?" I asked nervously as we piled in the rickety minivan.

Laf gave me an incredulous look. "this was the first car I bought since I came to America! she works fine!"

He slapped the side of the car with satisfaction making the bumper fall off.

we all groaned and exchanged nervous glances. Laf  grinned sheepishly. "we don't need that as much. buckle up!"

with a car like this, I sure as hell would.

Laf floored the gas and we rocketed down the highway, going over 50 miles past the speed limit.

Peggy was clinging onto me like her life depended on it,

Angie was gripping the side of the car, her face white,

Eliza was silently praying,

Herc was screaming,

Laf looked as if he was enjoying the chaos,
