Hi my name is Alex, I am 12 years old. I have a secret superpower that I was born with. Please don't tell anyone, it's a pretty lame superpower....Ok maybe not that lame, I can turn invisible but I go to a normal school which is a problem because sometimes I turn invisible in the middle of the day. My parents also have superpower but that are way cooler than mine, my mom has X-ray vision, and my dad can teleport.

Now let's start the story for real. It was a normal day, I woke up and went to school, met my biggest bully Derek at the door who gave me a wedgie on the way in (it really hurt). So anyways, it all started getting interesting before Humanities, right before the bell rang I turned invisible (here is one thing you probably don't know about me, is that I can't control my superpower).Anyways I started running home and halfway there I realized I turned back visible. People started staring at me as I walked back to school.

My teacher usually doesn't notice me but today Mr. Mansell (weird name am I right) decided to notice me when I was about a meter away from my chair.

"Mr. James, the period started twenty minutes ago. Where were you?" Asked Mr. Mansell.

"Uhhhh I was at the office?" I whispered back.

"Do you have an injury?" Mr. Mansell questioned unconcerned.

"No" I mumbled back.

"Then why were you in the office" Mr. Mansell was starting to get angry.

"I don't know" I murmured back.

"Go to the office NOW" He said through clenched teeth.

"But-" Mr. Mansell interrupted me.

"NOW and take this note and give it to the secretary" He shouted.

I took the note and went to the office. I gave it to the secretary who read it and gave me an unpleasant look. I waited for about half an hour until my mom came and her expression was unreadable. She went into the principal's office for about fifteen minutes and then she called me in. The principal gave this long lecture about who knows what and I swear that at one point my mom fell asleep.

When he finally let us go I explained to my mom what really happened but, when I started she interrupted me and said that it didn't matter because I got accepted to Silver Oak School for Gifted Children. I was so happy. That night we went out to celebrate in my favorite restaurant which served Mexican food.
