Chapter 1: Night 4

I never found him outside. So I rushed inside and told the others that had already come back. Of course, Scarlet wasn’t pleased and said “She probably seduced him and led him to zombies to get eaten!” Which I recoiled with, “Are you serious!? Why would I do that!? I bet you led him away while you were leaving!” 
Keep in mind this was all said at the night meeting. Hold on, let me lay it all out for you. 
Imagine this. Here’s the setting, I had just gotten into the school tears filling my eyes, so I was rushing to get to 2-C.  In fact, I only started hearing the quiet chatter when I was running up the stairs.  
The fact that no one knew he was gone, well from what I knew no one knew, made the tears fall. I didn’t stop in front of 1-C but went to his bedroom, which was next to a locked room, or the number, 1-D. I first knocked on his door, “Jay! Are you in there!?” I said loudly. Now I didn’t scream for him because if I had it would alarm the others, and if he was in there it would be dumb of me. But sadly there was no reply. Now I thought, maybe he was really tired after, or had a bad headache and went to sleep.
So what did I do? Well, I opened the door quietly, like you couldn’t even hear the loud creak! I looked around the room but there was no sign that he had even gone in there since he left the room. “Jay?” I had whispered but obviously, no reply. 
“What are you doing Y/n?” I hear someone say, which since I hadn’t heard any footsteps made me freeze. It wasn't Jay... I slowly turn around and low and behold Lawrence was standing outside the doorway.  
I clear my throat and stutter out, “ Well, I was looking for Jay, have you seen him?”
“No? Wasn’t he with you?” He asks in response. His response made my blood run cold. “Y/n?” 
I shake my head slowly, and he gasps just slightly. 
What happened!? Where’s Jay!
Hot tears fall down my face. Running toward the door I sort of shove Lawrence out of the way as I make my way back outside. 
“Jay! Jay! Where are you!?” I scream. I run around the courtyard looking for him. No! He can’t be gone! No! 
I trip on something and collapse.
