Why Not Me?

It all starts to come together

"Dustin? I'm driving you." I say grabbing my keys as I hear him protest behind me

"What? No! Why?" He says in a winnie voice

"Because with Will being gone, I don't want you to get hurt." I said grabbing his stuff putting it in the car

"So why do you really want to take me to school for?" He asked sitting down in my car with a load sigh

"What are you guys doing with Eleven?" I asked as I started the car.

"Eleven?" Dustin questioned me

"Eleven. The weirdo girl from last night." I replied a little puzzled

"Her names Eleven? Like the number? How the hell do you know this?" He looked at me with pure confusion

"Yeah, I don't know that what she told me in the bathroom. Besides the point. What are you guys doing with her?" I said wanting the answer

"She's going to go to Mike's mom this morning and do something I think." He replied looking out the window.

"And if that fails?" I asked keeping my eyes on the road

"I don't know. Mike will figure something out I'm guessing." He said as I pull up to his school

"Hey, wait. I'll pick you up all right. No wondering with out me. I don't know what happened with Will and I still don't want you to get hurt all right?" I said as he opened the door.

"Yeah all right." He said as I give him a smile driving back to my school looking for a spot, and of course the only one being right next to King Steve.

I roll my eyes getting out grabbing my bag from the back seat about to go inside when I feel someone tap me on the shoulder. I turn around and see Steve right next to me.

"Oh hey." I say walking

"You didn't tell anyone what you saw yesterday in the bathroom's right?" He asked me with consern

"Why?" I said trying to get away from him.

"Nancy's worried about it." He said now walking right by me

"No, I didn't tell anyone." I say going into the building pissed off walking and bumping into someone, "Oh shit, sorry" I said looking up seeing Robin looking at me

"Oh no it's fine. Hey your the girl from the bathroom right?" She said as I hand her her stuff

"Oh um yeah." I say with a gin
"Thanks for the heads up on that by the way." Robin says with a small smile
"Oh no problem, don't want anyone to witness what I saw." I joked
"Do you want to hang out sometime?" She asked
"Yeah, id like that. I have to drive my brother around tonight but maybe this weekend?" I replied
"This weekend would be great!" She smiled
...
"Hey, Jonathan, how's it going?" I asked as I walked over to Jonathan who was putting posters on the bulletin.
"Could be better." He joked sadly
"Yeah, how's your mom and everything?" I replied with a comforting look.
"She's. She's dealing." He said I could see how tired he look.
"Do you guys need anything? My moms cooking dinner tonight. You guys would be welcome to come, or we could bring some over to you." I soothed
"Oh no, we'll be fine. Thank you though." He smiled weakly
"Yeah of course, just let us know." I smiled back patting him on the shoulder walking away before while I see Nancy going over to talk to us.
...
"Hey where the hell is Mike?" I asked as the two boys hopped into my car.
"Wasn't at school." Dustin said simply
"What the hell do you mean he wasn't at school? Did his plan fail?" I kept asking as I started up the car
"We're not sure. But can you drive us there?" Lucas pipped in
"I swear if I get in trouble for this shit, your dead fucking meat." I groaned pulling out of the parking lot.
...
Once we got to the wheelers house we went up to Mike's room. I'd been in there a few times but other than that not really
"Are you out of your mind?!" Lucas said as we all looked over to see the girl sitting on mikes bed.
"Just listen to me." Mike responded
"Why the hell is she still here?" I asked
"She knows about Will." Mike answered
"What do you mean she knows about Will?" Dustin questioned
"She pointed at, at his picture. She knew he was missing. I could tell." Mike said picking up their picture
"Did she tell you she knew or are you just..." I asked before getting interrupted
"Just think about it. Do you really think it was a coincidence that we found her on Mirkwood, the same place where Will disappeared?" Mike asked
"Yes, yes I do believe so. It was a coincidence." I butted in
"And she said bad people are after her."
"Woah, woah, woah. What now! Did you just say 'bad people'?!" I yelled
"I think maybe these bad people are the same ones that took Will. I think she knows what happened to him." Mike continued to speak ignoring my question.
"Am I the only one stuck on the bad people?" I kept asking while everyone ignored me
"Then why doesn't she tell us?" Lucas asked walking over to her "do you know where he is? Do you know where Will is?!"
"Stop it you're scaring her!" Mike yelled
"She should be scared!" Lucas yelled back "if you know where he is, tell us!" He kept yelling "this is nuts. We have to take her to your mom!"
I could see the girl. She looked as if she was going to cry. I knew what Lucas said did indeed scare her. At first I was hesitant to go and sit by her but decided I should and sat by the girl rapping my arm around her shoulders.
"No! Eleven said telling any adult would put us in danger." Mike kept yelling at Lucas.
"What kind of danger?" Me and Dustin both asked at the same time.
"Her name is Eleven?" Lucas asked sarcastically
"El for short." Mike replied
"Mike, what kind of danger?!" Me and my brother asked at the same time once again.
"Danger danger!" He finally responded pointing his fingers to make a gun pointing it at Dustin then Lucas before he slapped his hand away.
"No, no, no! We're going back to plan A. We're telling your mom." Lucas said bursting through the two other boys to the door.
Lucas tried to open it. But the door got slammed shut. He tried again before it got locked. I looked next to me to see that Eleven  was gone and now standing with blood dripping down her nose.
"No." Is all she said to the boys.
Later the boys had all told me to stay upstairs with Eleven as they went down stairs to go eat. I tried to talk to her a little but she hadn't said much. She never really did. She has though tried to go down stairs, this was while I was in the bathroom.
"What the hell?" Mike asked me as he had come up the stairs to get me
"What? I was in the bathroom! What was I supposed to do?" I asked before hopping off his bed trying to quietly climb down the stairs to go to the basement. As we got down there we all saw her messing with his walky-talky
"No adults. Just us and some meatloaf. Don't worry. They won't tell anyone about you. They promise. Right?" Mike asked turning to us.
"Yeah." I said smiling
"We never would've upset you if we knew you had superpowers." Dustin said while Mike hit him on the legs
"What Dustin is trying to say is that they were just scared earlier." Mike corrected what Dustin had said.
"We just wanted to find our friend." Lucas added.
"Friend?" She asked.
"Yeah, friend. Will?" Lucas asked.
"What is friend." She questioned clearly confused
"Um a friend is..." Lucas said before getting cut off
"Is someone that you'd do anything for." Mike finished the sentence
"You lend them your cool stuff, like comic books and trading cards." Dustin added
"And they never break a promise." Mike also added
"Especially when there's spit." Lucas smiled.
"Spit?" Me and her both asked
"A spit swear means you never break your word." Lucas answered spitting on his hand offering it to Dustin "it's a bond."
"That's super important, because friends they tell each other things. Things that parents don't know." Mike added once again
As they said this is got me to thinking about Steve. About how we would always tell each other things, until it all fell apart of course.
"What's the weirdo doing?" Lucas asks bringing me out of my thoughts. As eleven sits down at the dnd board.
"Maybe she wants to play some dnd..." I say jokingly
"El?" Mike asks as she stars at the board picking up one of the pieces
"Will." Is all she says
"Superpowers." My brother says making me hit his arm lightly
"Did you see him? On Mirkwood?" Mike asks sitting down by her. "Do you know where he is?"
She then swipes everything off of the board except for the pice that she claimed to be will. She has then picked up the board and flipped it to the other side to show blackness. She has then picked up the piece and put it in the center.
"I don't understand." Mike states while I nod.
"Hiding." Is all eleven responds with
"Will is hiding?" Mike asks again. And I'm responds all she does is nod her head. "From the bad men?" Mike asks again while she now shakes her head no. "Then from who?"
Eleven then picks up another piece of a monster and puts it next to him. Making every one freak out a little bit.
"What the fuck! What the fuck!" I say backing up from the girl.                                                                         

A/N: Ok so... haven't posted in a while, on anything. For awhile I was writing a Cobra Kai one I mean I still am kind of. I also haven't writen in this for awhile, and with the new season out now I'm back into my stranger things era so here we are. Also I'm in fucking love with Eddie Munson, so might write another one about him. But we also have gotta stay loaly to king steve, first love and all that ya know. Any ways, hope ya'll enjoy, I'm also posting this before I edit it so sorry for any miss spelled stuff I'll go back and edit it later. Oh one more thing, I recommend going back and reading the other chapters if you haven't. From when I'm posting this I've changed some things in them. Like Julian was only friends with Steve before and not Nancy, she also doesn't hate Nancy now. I just felt bad cause Nancy's Nancy, and the new season made me rethink it. Also changed that Nancy isn't a bitch in the bathroom sence. Tbh don't know why I wrote it like that... Like Nancy would never I feel like. So yeah go and do that if you haven't.
