Band Mates// A Colby Brock story

Book 1 : Chapter 2

I headed to the room seeing my new drum set for the first time. I was amazed at the color. It was black with a gold and blue rims around each drum. I sat at the drums and started to play on them. I played the beat to Sk8er Boi and than next thing I know I hear a guitar playing along.

"He was a boy" I sung

"She was a girl" Colby sang

"Can I make it anymore obvious" we sung in harmony

"He was a punk" I sang

"She did ballet" he sang

"What more could I say..?" We both sung

-Sams POV-

I was walking upstairs when I heard someone playing drums and guitar. I couldn't tell what the beat was but it sounded incredible. I listen to where the sound was coming from to find a door with a a rectangle window to see through it. I saw Colby was playing guitar and Sophia was play drums and she wasn't bad either. Not bad at all, they sounded amazing together. But the next thing that happened shocked me. I know Colby well he doesn't fall easily anymore but somethings happening with Sofia. As soon as I stopped thinking of it I looked up to see Colby and Sofia right in each others face panting I watched them stare into each others eyes. I just stood their seeing the chemistry between them. I realized I should get to my room before they had realized I was standing their. So I stumbled on over to one of the rooms and found Jake in a room chilling with a girl on the guest bed.

"Hey Jake don't forget the gig is at 5 tomorrow so don't be late" I said standing in the doorway

"Yeah no problamo brother see you tomorrow" he said pointing finger guns at me

"Cool peace out bro" I said pointing finger guns right back and leaving

"Hey babe I think we should get some rest before tomorrow tonight was a lot" I told Katrina walking into the room we were staying in

"How are we supposed to sleep with that music" Kat said kinda pissed but to tired to care

"Don't worry I think their done now" I said smirking

"Who was it anyways?" She asked as I climbed on the bed

"Colby and the girl that's letting us stay here" I said going over to kiss her

"Oh? Really and what do you think of that?" She asked me sleepy yawning

"Theirs definitely chemistry in their" I simply said before shutting off the lights

-Sophia's POV-

We both sang these parts:

"He was a skater boy"

"She said see you later boy"

"He wasn't good enough for her"

"She had a pretty face"

"But her head was up in space"

"She needed to come back down to earth.."

We both just stood their starring and panting.

"That was- umm great I guess I we should go to bed or I mean I should go to bed- I uh yeah I'm good night" I said stumbling my words and backing out of the room hitting the door

I opened the door with the back of my hand and ran out of the room. What was that? Why did I run out of their I had a perfect chance, but I didn't want this to be a one night stand especially since he'll be in my house for a couple of days. Ugh what have I done. This just complicates thing I barely even know him.
I'm just gonna close my eyes.
