She was trying to focus on the program she had to attend that day. It was the second day and tonight she would be home again with Mira, Mimi, Missy and Aizawa. She could not wait to be home and so she tried her best to focus. She gathered all information formations she could use for her teaching but then a message from a certain someone somehow broke that focus.
UA is under attack! USJ has been breached by the villains.
Hizashi.
Aizawa has it worst! Thirteen comes in two. Respond when you see this, Yumi.
Hizashi.
The sudden drop in her heartbeat was obvious when someone beside her nudged her elbow. She turned to look at the woman.
"I'm sorry, your face turned blue all of the sudden. Are you alright?" She asked, concerned.
"I'm sorry." Yumi breathed heavily. She raised up her hand and gained attention from the organisers. She walked up to them and explained everything, of course with showing them the message she received too.
She was allowed to go home. She called Hizashi and no further information was given but all he said was, she needed to be at the hospital. She reached there in just 1 hour. She ran mostly before and after she got off the train. So it was fast.
She arrived at the hospital, asking for the nurses for Aizawa Shouta, and they showed her his room. No visitors were allowed yet and she could see Hizashi was already outside. She wanted to just get into the room but Hizashi stopped her.
"What happened?!" She asked loudly, holding his shoulders and shook him a bit.
Hizashi hold her arms firmly and made her stop shaking him. "The villains suddenly appeared in USJ. We were late there because apparently the security systems in USJ was cut off by one of them. Aizawa fought most of the villains but lost the battle when there was this creature called Nomu he had to face." He pulled her to sit beside him, to let her took a breather. "It was said that the Nomu's brute strengths was on par to All Might. Aizawa couldn't erase it. He used all of his last bit of energy to saved his students."
She stayed silent. She did not know what to say at all. The heavy feelings on her chest, was indeed for him. Her tears slowly fell down her cheeks. Hizashi was hurt by the sight of her crying but he could not stop it either, maybe because to him, Aizawa was her best friend too, so it was normal for to cry.
It was normal though.
"What about his conditions?" She finally asked, with a very hoarse voice.
Hizashi looked so stress out when she asked that question but he knew she could be pretty demanding on to know what was Aizawa's condition.
"Comminuted fractures in both arms and bone fracture in frontal face. Fortunately, he doesn't seem to suffer any brain damage. However.." he stopped for a bit before continuing, ".. his orbital bone is completely fractured so it might affect his eyes in the future."
Yumi's heart dropped, as low as it could possibly went. They both stayed silent for few more minutes. They just heard the nurses or other patients' voices. Hizashi's phone rang and he answered it slowly but enough for her to heard the whole conversation. Once Hizashi ended the call with a yes, sir, she said, "you can go, Hizashi. Don't worry, I'll take care of him."
Hizashi held her right hand for a second, very firmly as though he was transferring his strength for her. She smiled.
"And once he wakes up, I'll take care of him too. You understand right?" She said softly.
Hizashi nodded his head, understanding her every words. "I'm going. I'll keep you update about the meeting." She nodded and he ran out of the waiting area.
There was when her quirk came in handy. Healing Hero : Remedial. A quirk that could be activated by touching the patient. She was not as powerful as Recovery Girl, hence why she never told people about her quirk or being serious about being a hero. Because despite it being a very helpful quirk, the contradiction to this quirk was.. her life span will be reduced. It was as if she exchanged her life force to heal people. The more she healed people, the shorter her life span will become.
Although she did not have to worry about it that much, because even if the life of her patient's was supposed to be on 70/30 and she healed that person, only 1 hour of her life span will be deducted. The scary part was? She did not even know until when she could live.
So the less healing a patient needed, the lesser her life span will be deducted. But maybe she valued her life too, she could not afford to healed that much.
"Miss Ito?" She looked up and see a doctor stood in front of her. "Recovery Girl told me that you would be of help in healing Aizawa." The doctor smiled.
Yumi turned to his door and smiled a bit before turning back at the doctor, "yes."
She was determined.
A/N: weewoo her quirk revelation. It's nothing too extravagant, nothing too over the top, but definitely useful when she put her mind on it.
