"What was the feeling you were talking about, Yumi?"

The voice echoed in her mind as she stared at the window.

A secret business she had been doing behind everyone's back.

A deal that she and him made.

No kisses on the lips, no affectionate hugs, no kisses on the forehead, no holding hands and the latter was not allowed to stay in bed after sex, depended on whose room they used.

Where it went wrong? She and him had both been obeying the rules they made.

And the fact she woke up in his bed this morning, was already against the rule. He did not talk about it either. They just woke up and got all ready for school, like usual.

In those years you spent with him under the same house, don't you feel anything for him?

She sat at her desk, thinking of any possible answers to the question.

Her answer before, it was not supposed to happen. It should not happened. But in those years she spent with him, she argued with him, she reconciled with him, she cooked for him, she ate with him, she watched movies with him, she had sex with him, she woke up and see him, she spent her years with him. Was it not predictable?

Was it impossible?

"I like him," she mumbled unconsciously. Luckily no one was there. The tightened feelings inside her chest. The longing she had been feeling.

Like him? Or love him?

Would it make her a fool? And if it did make her a fool, would she rather just a be a fool?

She looked up when she heard rustle in front of her. Aizawa was looking for something on his desk when he looked at her. He raised his brow, questioning why she would look at him like that.

"Would I be a fool? Only for the reason that I have come to love you?" She asked that, at this point she did not know whether she was conscious or not.

Aizawa looked rather shocked by her sudden confession. He looked around, probably to make sure no one heard it aside from him. He looked quite calm now despite being freaked out just a second ago. He walked around the table, to stood beside her. She looked at him, with tears in her eyes. Why she wanted to cry?

Would he reject her?

She closed her eyes, for whatever was coming after.

She felt a soft pair of palms on her cheeks,

Slowly pulling her head forward,

And she felt it, for the first time,

Her lips touched his soft, soft lips.

She was at a restaurant, sitting there with Aizawa and waiting for the food to arrive

She was at a restaurant, sitting there with Aizawa and waiting for the food to arrive. Aizawa wanted to talk about this over some fancy food. He went through the length to actually reserved a place for the both of them. She did not know what to actually talk about because what came out from her mouth that morning, was purely out of her world.

Aizawa seemed to be looking at her the longest as she kept distracting herself from looking at him back. The food came without a word escaping their mouths. They ate the food in complete silence.

When both of them had finished their foods, they sat there for a while before going home. Nothing was spoken about. Nothing at all. Until they both arrived home.

"Why would you ask if you would be a fool or not, Yumi?" Aizawa asked as he closed the main door to his house.

She walked to the couch and sat on it before saying, "because we made the deal. We made our rules. I'd be a damn fool if I fell in love with someone I'd create a line for."

He walked to her, taking a sit beside her. "Humans made such rules. Two humans who were basically ignorant of what fate may come to them." He said.

"I'd be honest with you, in our years together, there were multiple times where I was thinking of making you more than just a housemate or my best friend with benefit." He softly said as he leaned at the couch. Looking straight into the ceiling, he continued, "spending all those years with you, waking up to your sight, eating the breakfasts and dinners you made, arguing and reconciling with you, sat for hours watching movies with you.." he stopped and closed his eyes tight and she looked at him, "at some point, I can't even imagine that someone else would take your place now."

She bite her lips. Her heart beat fast. Faster than it could be, it almost sound impossible for a human being.

He opened his eyes and look at her red face, blushing by his sudden confession. He straightened his body and hold her face with both of his hands, "I don't want to imagine your life with someone else other than me either." He said.

Her tears fell again. Why was she so fragile lately? She had become to cry so easily.

"So if you said that falling in love with me, was only a fool decision because of the rules we made. Then it's okay," he smiled, pressing his forehead against hers. With his eyes closed he muttered it slowly, softly and with the most tender voice he had ever use with you, "I'd be a foolish in love. I'm only a fool for you."

At that point, she laughed, wrapped her hands around his waist and hugged him, tight. As if she did not want to let go, ever. She just wanted to love this man in front of him. She just wanted to have this man for herself, for the longest time, for while she was still breathing.
