It had been a week after Mirabel's gift ceremony and a week since Bruno left. Everyone seemed sad and confused why hadn't Mirabel gotten a gift? Where did Bruno go? These were questions everyone was thinking. Camilo had woken up in the middle of the night, he had a nightmare and decided to get some water from the kitchen.
Camilo heard something in the kitchen he hid behind a wall and looked into the kitchen to see a person. Camilo was 5 and short so this person looked tall maybe even 7 feet tall. The person was grabbing some of Julieta's arepas and putting them into a small bag. Then Camilo noticed there were rats on their back RATS! That's when Camilo screamed and the person turned around they had green glowing eyes. "Shit!" The person said quietly.
That's when Camilo realized the person was his Tío Bruno. Bruno started walking towards Camilo and Camilo started backing up. "Tío Bruno what are you doing?" Camilo asked.
"It's ok Camilo I'm just- CAMILO WATCH OUT THE WALL!" Bruno yelled when Camilo had backed up into a wall.
He hit the wall hard and his vision started blurring. Bruno continued to say Camilo's name trying to keep him from not passing out. But Camilo's vision faded to black and he ended up passing out. Bruno then carried Camilo back to his room. Bruno tucked him in and left one of Julieta's arepas and a glass on his nightstand. Then Bruno left he wanted to do more for Camilo but he didn't know what else to do.
