"Human! Cage is calling!"

Cale then removed his reading glasses and settled the papers down at the table in front of him. It has been a few days since the revelation of his Godhood to the children and they are currently scanning the people that works inside their houses or villas.

The redhead could clearly remember who is an enemy and ally. As Cale was also studying on how to make a connection through his feathers to the people he's close to since there was that fake Hilsman that stole his retirement funds and such.

It still pisses him off now that he recalls.

"Hello Miss Cage."

Cale could see how frantic the excommunicated priestess is.

"Ah! Yes. Hello Young Master. Are you busy? If so, then can I see you as soon as possible?"

Seeing as it seems to be an important matter, Cale shook his head and placed the documents aside.

"Then we can meet now Miss Cage."

"I'll be there in a few minutes Young Master."

It wasn't even a full a minute when Cage appeared where Cale is and thankfully, he had already hidden away his wings.

"Raon, On and Hong. Why don't you play outside first while we're talking?"

"Okay human!"

"We'll bring snacks later nya!"

Cale smiled, "Much appreciated."

Before leaving, Raon had casted a sound proof barrier around the two to avoid other people possibly eavesdropping when the dragon saw the list of names earlier.

"Is there something wrong Miss Cage?"

It was silent at first, before the priestess let out a frustrated sigh.

"I can't feel him."

Cale let out a confused hum.

"The God of Death. I can't feel him. And his temples are in an uproar because of this."

The redhead flinched slightly. There is only one reason if Death's priests can't feel him.

"Did he say anything to you?"

"There is, though I didn't understand any of it."

Cale hopes that what he's thinking wasn't the case.

"I wish you the best, and hope for your happiness this time."

He placed his trembling hands unto his face and squeezed his eyes shut. He knew it, because after all what he did for him, he's now come in 'that' situation.

The God of Death has been sealed for bringing Cale back into the past.

°×°×°×°

"In ancient times, there are only three Gods that were known. The King, The God of Creation, and the God of Death."

Cale only listened. He managed to meet the other God right after sleeping.

"I still don't get why you're telling me this though."

"Shush. I'm having an emotional reminiscing here. Let me finish."

The redhead just sighed before nodding reluctantly.

"The original owner of the body you are residing in was the God of Creation's successor, just like Choi Jung Gun was mine."

Cale wanted to ask a lot of question.

"The original God of Creation was already famed Fallen God before he could choose a successor. So who chose Cale Henituse?"

The God of Death looked at the redhead as if he was looking through his soul.

"I chose him."

Cale stopped himself from snorting when Death said it like he's choosing a pokémon.

"Hmm. Then, do you know where Genesis is now?"

The God of Death felt like someone showered him with buckets of ice as he glared at the redhead in front of him.

The chains around his limbs continued to clank as he tried to approach Cale.

"How do you know that name?"

If Caleㅡno...Kim Rok Soo still didn't know this body’s origin, he would be trembling now while doing his best to keep a stoic face.

The original Cale Henituse was a successor, and Kim Rok Soo was looking for the first God of Creation to atleast help him with the future battles against the other Gods.

"The original Cale Henituse did."

"What?"

"He found a forbidden scroll containing information about Genesis."

The chained God was silent and continued to listen, so Cale proceeded to tell him what he knew based on the original's memory.

"The King said once to Cale back then when he banished him from the Divine Race."

The God of Death continued to shake.

"Since you loved the humans that much to the point that you would break the rules like your predecessor did, then I'll just throw you together with them. And every time you loved one dearly, they will die in front of your eyes."

The redhead have a solemn look on his face as he traced the gold shackle in his neck. He sent a smile to the latter.

"With life comes death."

"...And with death comes life."

The sound of chains surrounding the God of Death became more violent as he ignored the burning pain from the friction.

Death remember those words like a broken record as he repeatedly thought of it after Cale was also banished from the heavens.

Because of all the decades the God of Death had spent raising the original Cale Henituse like his own son and a friend, he didn't know this was the reason why both of them were casted away.

Just because they helped and love their every created humans. God's were not supposed to intervene in mortal affairs, Death knew that.

Cale walked towards the chained God in a calm stride.

"I didn't know you became this dramatic."

The God of Death scoffed.

The two continued to stare at each other in the middle of Death's domain, as it is a peaceful silence between them.

"Yeah, I know. Father and son reunion must be nice, but can you please remember that I'm also sealed in this hellhole?!"

The God of Despair screams in a pissed tone but the two just ignored him.

The three children have a flabbergasted expression on their faces that it amused Cale.

"Is it wrong that I kinda feel bad for the God of Death even from all the shitshows he did?"

Cale snorted as he let the three cuddle with his wings. On and Hong kept purring as Raon rubbed his back then exhaling contentedly.

"No. Because even if he did all of that, I owe him many."

Just like he brought him here in this world and how he sent Cale back in time which he was deeply thankful for.

Cale clutched the little black book inside his chest pocket and sighed.
