Mystery's POV

Summer vacation has officially started, and I'm hoping this ain't the worst summer vacation I ever have.

But I better go ahead and give up on that.

For starters, Dre moved out to pursue his music career as a producer, and is living with one of his friends, leaving me alone to deal with Mama bullshit.

Armani moved to Georgia yesterday with Anthony and Aaron, leaving only three girls in our little "clan" as Mama calls it.

Christopher has been avoiding me for a while, and I've been calling him everyday wondering why, but he never picks up.

Gina still haven't tried anything, which now has me a little suspicious.

But what if her and Christopher are sneaking around again?

Or what if she told him another devious lie, and he believes her?

At this point, I don't know what to believe, but the fact that my own "blood" is trying to make my life miserable, is killing me.

And on top of that, I still haven't told Mama what Gina told, and it's eating me on the inside whether to tell her or not.

My crush on Eazy hasn't gone anywhere, and he rarely brings up the night of the party.

The last time he brought it up was when he asked me if we did anything, and I quickly reassured him we didn't.

Not like it's a big deal or anything.

"Mystery!" Mama yells from downstairs.

"Yes?" I yell back.

"Can you come down here please?"

"Okay!" I reply, as I walk out of my room, and down the stairs, and to my surprise, I  see my Dad and brother standing in the doorway.

My brother, Tyree, I don't mind, but my Dad I don't want to see.

"Mama why is he here?" I ask her.

"Damn, not even going to say hey or hi?" He asks.

"You gave multiple reasons for me not to!" I retort.

"Mystery!" Mama says. "Watch your tone!"

"But Mommy, I don't want him to be here!" I complain.

"Mystery, you're father and brother are here because something came up." Mama explains.

"And I hope you can understand this adjustment." He says.

"Now I see why Dre left." I mumble.

"What was that little girl?" Dad says.
