Your sweat dripped on your forehead, you needed to constantly wipe away the mess. The sun was showing you no mercy, not a single cloud in the sky to use for shade. You happily took the money from the customers as they happily took the food from your humbling little market. It was small and didn't have many customers but it was good quality and good food, and you loved the market very much since it was a responsibility that your mother gave to you, when she couldn't have done it anymore. You sat back in your chair exhausted, and groaned from the back pain. Yup, you loved this place, but also hated it. Abuela was back at home taking a well deserved break from the market, she said that she was too old to stand for so long, and it made you laugh as you remembered how she went on her usual rant.

"Hey chica!" Your mind zoomed right back into reality and finally noticed the boy standing in front of you.

You sat up properly in your chair staring at the curly haired boy.

"Oh um- buenos días." You fixed your hair just slightly.

"Buenos días, chica. Nice seeing your face again." He smiled nervously.

You blinked. "It is?"

"Mmhm!" He ducks behind your chair as he hears a loud boom.

You are very confused, looking around to see a woman storming, quite literally, while a short man follows behind her trying to calm her down. Now you understand. Camilo was trying to seek away from his parents, mainly his mother as it seemed. Did he do something to upset her? Camilo transformed as a child to bring less attention to himself, because he wasn't being very convincing hiding behind a chair where you could clearly see the outline of his body. The woman marches up to your table and you could tell you were in trouble.

"Where is my son?!" She screamed.

"Um, Señora, I have no idea where your son is—" You were cut off with her hands slamming against the table giving you a sharp glare.

"Lies! I demand to know where my son is, and when I find him I will— I will!" She waved her finger in your face, not being able to finish her sentence.

The man comes up from behind her waist and pulls her closer to him. "Mi amor, you have to calm down. They don't know where he is." You cringed knowing that was a lie.

You thought about telling her, and you looked to the side of your head, seeing the boy shake his head 'no' you sighed and continued this innocent façade just to save his butt.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." You muttered very quickly. "You are SO lucky you're cute."

The woman sighed. "I'm sorry, he's just so much and I'm freaking out! But um..thank you for your time." She and her husband walked away to search for their son.

"We're sorry for the trouble!" The short man yelled just before chasing after his wife.

You watched as they were out of view and slumped in your chair, you felt your soul fly away and your youth being stripped of you. Camilo laughed loudly, using your shoulder for support.

"Oh god...I'm so dead later but so worth it." He managed to say through all the laughter.

"Never. Ever. Make me do that again, or I'll help out your mother in killing you." You threatened, though inside you were just joking.
