Johnny Lawrence - young - pond request

It was hot, way too hot to not go for a dip but as the pond came into view, I could see a familiar tall blond man.
Johnny Lawrence, fantastic, the one guy that I just couldn't stand, he was so cocky it made me crazy but all the girls were always just blinded by his looks an his stupid karate moves, it was outrageous what that boy got away with, just cause he flashes his pearly whites, we always happened to cross each other, fate enjoyed playing this game, pushing two people who hate each other down the same lane.
I step onto the small wooden jetty, it was a peaceful pond an in all honesty, I didn't think anyone even knew about this place apart from me.
I'd be going here for a long time now and i had never seen anyone else until now, it was tucked away from the rest of the world, my little corner, well apparently mine an Johnny's little corner, couldn't it have been Bobby? I would've taken Dutch even, literally anyone but Johnny.
The Trees around provide quite the shade but did allow enough sun though while the pretty flowers in the shrub, made excellent contrast of colours.
Johnny was sat at the edge of the jetty, his tanned back was facing me as I was close enough I could see all the small details like his sunspots an a few scraps an marks.
Me stepping up onto the jetty must've broke whatever train of thought he had because he turned to face me, his eyes shooting up to mine as they seemed more blue in this lighting.
"(Y/n)" he said, obviously not impressed with who he was staring at, his lips pressed Into a thin line as I held onto the strap of my bag, tighten my grip on it as I glared down at him.
"Johnny" I speak though gritted teeth as I put my bag down tugging out my towel before laying it out an standing to my full height once more.
Johnny's eyes were still on me as I unclipped one of the clips on the top of my overalls revealing some of my bathing suit.
"You really do have a staring issue don't you Lawrence?" I snap harshly as I look over at him an he rolls his eyes.
"You invaded my space!"
"Do you own the pond?"
"That's not-"
"Oh sorry does daddy own the pond Johnny?" I mock whine at him as he snaps his head back towards the water.
"Hes not my dad" his voice isn't angry now, in fact it's slightly scratchy.
His tone catches me completely off guard as I just stare at his back before I walk closer.
"Johnny?"
"Go away" he snaps at me as I glared at him
"I try to be nice for once an you go ahead an ruin it, you, you jackass" I raise my voice at him before I turn away from him an begin tugging at the last clip on my overalls, my frustration building as I close my eyes tightly an take a deep breath an try again but the clip seems to be stuck an I open my eyes glancing over my shoulder at Johnny.
I could ask him for help, but I won't.
I sigh loudly as Johnny stands up an begins walking towards the start of the jetty but as he walks past, I feel like being Petty so I step back, knocking him off balance as I hear him take In a sharp breath but I soon feel his hands grip onto my waist, pulling me down with him.
Johnny hits the water first as his hands keep a tight grip on me, next is me, the freezing water engulfing me whole an it feels like small needles all over my skin.
Johnny hands Haven't let go an I begin thrashing against him as I wiggle enough so we're chest to chest but soon his arms are circled around me as his large forearms press into my back before he drags us to the surface an I let my hands grip onto his shoulders harshly, Taking deep breaths as I blink the water out of my eyes.
I stare up at Johnny as he's still blinking away the water, but once he's done, his eyes are Instantly on mine, his eyes are crystal clear blue, his eyes made me feel seen, like I was the most important thing he'd ever seen, his hands made me feel the same way, the way he was gripping my hips as if he let go I'd melt away but my eyes caught onto a water droplet rolling down off  his eyelash as it fell onto his long droopy nose running all the way to the end before it dropped back into the pond but my eyes lingered to his lips, they weren't pressed into a scowl like they usually were when we came across each other, they were slightly parted, an I let my eyes flicker up to his again as I see his eyes linger on my lips before they returned to mine.
I slide my hands up to the back of his neck as I pulled him closer before he pressed his lips to mine an I pressed my body fully against his, he was warm, just how I'd imagined.
His lips were soft an moved against mine in sync, I soon found myself sliding my hands up to his hair as I twirled the golden locks around my fingertips an shortly after me an him had pulled back, gasping for air but our noses still pressed together.
My eyes returned to Johnny's as it fully dawned on me what has just happened an what we've done.
"Where does go from here?"
I ask as I'm the first to break the silence am Johnny stares at me.
"We'll I'd say out of the water but is that too obvious?" A large smirk grows on his face as I roll my eyes an shake my head.
"I hate you"
"Hm didn't feel like that two seconds ago baby."
"Don't you baby me"
"Would you prefer princess?"
"Shut up"
"Let me kiss you again then I'll think about it"
I groan as I had begun to talk back to the jetty before putting my arms on it an tugging myself up slightly but Johnny comes an pushes me up before tugging himself up next to me as he smiles at me.
"What?" I ask
"I knew you liked me, I'm just so good looking, I know I know"
"Keep tickets on yourself don't you?"
"I'm a humble man"
"Bullshit" I tell him as his shoulder lightly nudges mine an he wraps his arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer before he kisses my temple.
"We could try friends?" I offer trying to imagine how I can explain this to my friends.
"Or we could just start dating? Let me take you on a date an I promise you'll fall in love with me"
"Your already in love with me, don't lie to yourself" I copy his ego as I glance over at him with a small grin.
"Oh? Who is keeping tickets on themselves now huh?" He teases.
"Hush hush"
"So are you gonna tell me why you hated me?"
"You know why I hated you"
"Is this because of when I ruined your sandcastle?"
"So you do remember" I say glaring at him as he throws his head back laughing.
"I said I was sorry"
"Doesn't matter I spent all day on it"
"Uh also if I remember correctly you kicked my football onto the road an it got ran over"
"Now why would I do that?" I say innocently as he shakes his head.
"Snake"
"Says the one who literally trains in a dojo named after a snake"
"Touché" Johnny says as I stand up but Johnny reaches over an pulls my towel around him
"Who's a snake now?" I tell him placing my hand on my hip an he smiles up at me.
"Still you babe but at least your a hot snake."
I push him off the jetty again as the towel goes with him an once he resurfaces, he pouts at me.
"How unfortunate" I giggle
"Now the towel is wet" he says as I grin.
"Come on let's go get ice cream" I tell him
His eyes light up at the mention of the word an he's soon happily trotting back to the jetty an pulling himself up as he stands next to me an wraps his soaking form.
"Johnny get off" I tell him as I wiggle out of his arms an he laughs but slips his hand into mine as we walk along.
I glance at him while he's laughing an my heart tightens, how did I ever hate him? But his eyes soon bore back into mine an he opens his mouth letting out 3 words.
"I love you"
"I love you too"
I can't even stop myself from Saying it the words tumble out an it feels so right causes I love him.
